The athletic program at Desert Heights Preparatory Academy strives to develop the skills

necessary for student-athletes to be competitive and successful when

addressing the challenges of the 21st century.

THE AGREEMENT IS A PART OF THE PARTICAPTION PAPERWORK AND IS NEEDED FOR TRY-OUTS

Communication Protocol:

If there is ever an issue or concern we ask you follow these steps:

1. Ask for a private conversation with the Coach in e-mail or after practice.

2. If the issue continues, contact the Athletic Director (Courtney Martin).

3. If the issue continues, contact the Principal (Chelsey Peitz).

3. If the issue continues, contact the President (Mark Jiles).

We are asking that every Parent respects our protocol and steps, and we hope to see all of you at the events and

games supporting the DHPA Athletic Department.

BASKETBALL: WE WILL STILL BE USING THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB GYM UNTIL WE HAVE OUR OWN FACILITY BUILT. WE

WILL BE USING OTHER PARK FACILTIES AND THE CHARTER FOR PRACTICES.

Concussion Video Update

TEAMS WILL NOW BE WATCHING THE VIDEO AND TAKING THE TEST TOGTHER THE FIRST

WEEK OF TRY-OUTS.

COACHES WILL NEED TO PUT THIS IN THEIR TRY-OUT PERIOD.

THIS IS A AZCAA REGULATION FOR TEAMS AND ATHLETES AND IT ALLOWS SOME TEAM BONDING AND OTHER OPTIONS TO COVER.
