TECHNICAL INFORMATION
I. ACCREDITATION / REGISTRATION Athlete / Coaches Accreditation will take place at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex Thursday 8:00am – 6:00pm Friday 8:00am – 8:00pm Saturday 8:00am – 8:00pm Sunday 8:00am – 1:00pm Coaches’ accreditation and lanyards can be picked up at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex beginning Wednesday, May 2nd during the coaches meeting and throughout the weekend. Coaches not listed on the meet entry form must show their USA Gymnastics Professional Membership card to receive a meet credential. If your membership is current, but you have not received your card, it is your responsibility to contact Member Services and request proof of membership Only coaches of competing athletes will be allowed on the floor. No one will be allowed into the venue without the appropriate credentials. Athletes attending sessions in which they are not competing must remain in the spectator area. II. COACHES MEETING A coaches meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd at 8:30pm. The meeting will be held at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex. Coaches’ packets will be distributed at the Coaches Meeting. III. FORMAT Modified Capitol Cup Two full sets of equipment in competition gym. Flight A (1 age group) will warm-up and compete on 1st set of equipment then Flight B (1 age group) will warm-up and compete on 2nd set of equipment. IV. MEDICAL TRAINER Medical personnel will be available during all training and competition sessions. V. BOARDS Boards will be designated at each event. VI. VAULT It is the coach’s responsibility to flash the correct number for the vault the gymnast performs. VII. SCORING All around results will be posted after every session. Meet results will be posted on-line at 2012 eastern results VIII. COACHES ATTIRE All active coaches are expected to wear appropriate athletic attire during the competition.
IX. ATHLETE APPAREL Athlete’s GK Elite apparel will be available for pick-up at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex beginning Thursday, May 3rd during the training session and throughout the weekend. Each gymnast will need to sign for her apparel.
X. OFFSITE TRAINING Offsite training is available at the following gymnastics venue on Friday, May 4, 2012.

Six gymnasts per age group per region; two age groups per session. Modified non-traditional: 2 sets of apparatus-Flight 1 uses one set; flight 2 uses other set.
A Club may have athletes in different flights so you need to plan for adequate number of coaches.
(Example: A Region 5 club qualifies one Jr. 1 and one Jr. 2 – The Jr. 1 will start on Floor in Flight 1 and the Jr. 2 will start on Bars in Flight)

Athlete Biographical Information
All athletes qualified to the Level 9 Eastern and Western Championships are requested
to link to the following website to complete their Athlete Bio. These surveys are used
by USA Gymnastics for information and promotional purposes, including posting
pictures and bios of the winning athletes. The host club may also use these bios to
publicize human interest stories about the athletes.
Although most collegiate coaches do not attend the Level 9 East/West Championships,
the information gathered in this survey allows USA Gymnastics to provide information
regarding high school age athletes to the NCAA* coaches in attendance at the Level
10 Jr. Olympic National Championships.
