Ad space will be filled, at Publisher’s option, with copy deemed suitable by the Publisher and billed in the usual manner once space deadline has passed.

oPTioNAL CHARGES• Covers 2, 3, & 4 are 33% additional. • Any guaranteed non-cover positions are 20% additional.

PHoToGRAPHY CHARGES • Photo shoots (up to 4 hours): $150–first hour; $95 each

additional hour. Includes photographer’s travel time.• In-House: $150 flat fee, maximum 8 products.

diGiTAL SUBMiSSioN• Email submission is preferred on files smaller than 5MB to art@smartshoppermag.com. • FTP transfers - please contact our Production Manager

ACCEPTABLE FiLE FoRMATS• ACROBAT PDF 9.0 or lower - must be saved at

the highest quality (press quality) and Must have fonts embedded.

• PHOTOSHOP CS5 or lower - must be in CMYK color mode.

• ILLUSTRATOR CS5 or lower - create outlines of type and include any linked files in Illustrator vector files.

iMAGES • Halftone images must be at least 300 dpi. We do not

guarantee quality results on images submitted at lower resolutions.

• Bitmap image files must be at least 600 dpi. • All fonts must be embedded in the PDF or outlined

in Illustrator.• Copy should be set in 100% black for camera ready art.• RGB and Pantone colors will be converted to CMYK.• MATCHEd CoLoR iS NoT GUARANTEEd.
