Congratulations SEA, Shelby Emergency Assistance, presented Volunteer of the Year Award to Herschel Hale. Herschel serves on the SEA Board to include Board President. He has picked up monthly food shipments from the Community Food Bank and items for the SEA Thrift Store. He is involved with American Village, the Montevallo Beautification Board, Arbor Day, and church events. He finds time to mow the grass for a neighbor or help move trees damaged by a storm.

Job Fair

Thanks for the Shelby County RSVP volunteers who helped plan and conduct the Heros2Hire job fair for our veterans and their spouses. There were 68 companies who helped 196 veterans and their spouses who were seeking employment opportunities. The event was hosted by one of our stations, ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve), U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Birmingham Business Alliance and the Birmingham Society of Human Resource Managers.
