2011 Alabaster Start Smart BASEBALL General Information Start Smart Baseball prepares children for organized tee ball, baseball and softball in a fun environment without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. Parents work together with their children in a supportive environment to learn all of the basic skills for the sport – throwing, catching, batting, running, and agility. Parents work one-on-one with their children while they spend quality time with them. Child HAS to be 3 before April 1, 2011 Child CANNOT turn 5 before April 1, 2011 $85 registration fee includes: o 2 Koosh Balls o 1 Bat and Ball Set o 1 Glove o 1 Participant Manual o T-shirt o Participation Medal One hour sessions will be on Tuesday nights Program will last for six weeks NOTE: NO Checks Accepted! We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Debit card. Non-residents need to include an additional 10%. We will need a copy of the participant’s birth certificate. Important Dates on reverse side ►

2011 Alabaster Start Smart BASEBALLGeneral Information

Start Smart Baseball prepares children for organized tee ball, baseball and softball in a fun environment without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. *Registration is limited to the first 20 children who sign up – No Exceptions! We could reach our quota on the morning of Feb. 28 so be sure to register promptly!

Facility Locations:

New Alabaster Senior Center is located at: 1097 – 7th Street S.W., Alabaster

Directions: From Hwy. 119, turn at the red light by Mill House Natural Foods (2 story white building) go straight, go over the RR tracks, and enter the Sr. Ctr. parking lot.

(It’s beside the old YMCA.)

SCISC (Shelby County Instructional Services Center) is located at: 601 First Street South

Directions: Just south of the Hwy. 119/Hwy. 31 Intersection on the left. Meet in the gym. (Also known as the old Thompson Middle School)
