PROMOTION SUNDAYToday
Your child(ren) move up to the next class this morning. Please fill out the family registration cards in the Fellowship Hall before checking in.
Celebrating a Legacy of MinistryHow appropriate it is that we express appreciation and gratitude to God for the faithful servants He uses to bless our lives!
John & Allene Brickner are two such servants. In their recent move to Corpus Christi, no doubt many of you sent them cards or expressions of best wishes and thanks.
But as a church family we want to do something special. So this morning we are offering the opportunity for you (as many as we are able) to express to John and Allene your thanks and praise to God for what they've meant to your life.
We'll be recording brief video testimonies THIS MORNING from 10 am -‐ 12:30 pm in the Library (2nd floor of the CE building) that will be edited into a tribute DVD that we will send to them .
To prepare we suggest you write out your thoughts (plan for no more than 2-‐3 minutes).
We hope many of you will take advantage of this opportunity to express gratitude to God for the Brickners' Gospel investment in time and eternity.

BOOK RECOMMENDATION
Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper
Most people slip by in life without a passion for God, spending their lives on trivial diversions, living for comfort and pleasure, and perhaps trying to avoid sin. This book will warn you not to get caught up in a life that counts for nothing. It will challenge you to live and die boasting in the cross of Christ and making the glory of God your singular passion.

Praying Women of BethelJesus said in Mark 11:17 "my house shall be called a house of prayer..."
Considering all God's promises about prayer, we would like you to join other women of Bethel as we pray together on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 -‐ 6:30 pm in the Parlor. If we want to bring about God's will and power in his church and in our world, we are called to pray. We invite you to join us anytime you can, whether you pray in your heart or with your voice.
Questions? Contact Ann Wilson at [email protected].
