    07:002. SIGN ON/TIMING TRANSPONDERS

    ALL COMPETITORS: Competitor sign on, scrutineering card and timing transponder collection will be conducted at

    Race Secretarys office in the Control Tower.

    Junior Competitors must have a parent or authorized guardian co-sign the required sign-onsheets.

    In any instance that a Junior Competitors parent is unable to attend the meeting a Motorcycling AustraliaGuardianship Forms must be completed by the Junior Competitors parent appointing an authorized Guardian.Any Junior Competitor without a parent onsite or holding a duly completed Guardianship Form will not be permitted to

    compete. The MA Guardianship form can be foundhttp://www.mqld.org.au/fileadmin/user_upload/state_files/qld/Documents/Forms

    A $50 refundable transponder secuity deposit is required by all competitors.Cash or Cheque ONLY!

    Timing transponders MUST be fitted to machines prior to scrutineering.

    All competitors will be required to own their own Bracket for the transmitter. The brackets will be available from theTimekeepers and cost $10.00.

    3. SCRUTINEERING

    Scrutineering will be conducted in Scrutineering Area at the end of the Carports. ALL MACHINES MUST ATTENDMACHINE EXAMINATION. Machines involved in accidents must be re-examined before going back onto the circuit.

    Juniors: Junior competitors will be required to present their leathers, boots, gloves, helmet, licence and logbookPRIOR to presenting their machine for scrutineering.

    All competitors are required to present their machines for scrutineering with lower fairings removed. All competitors

    are requested to wear their leathers and boots to scrutineering. Back protectors, helmets and gloves may be carried.Licenses MUST be presented at scrutineering.

    Please ensure that your machine complies with the 2011 Manual of Motorcycle Sport and any relevantMotorcycle Sportsmen Class rules. Please check www.ma.org.au for any Rule Bulletins that may affect your

    machine eligibility.

    Junior Competitors are requested to submit their LOGBOOKS to the Race Secretary when they sign on priorto scrutineering.

    Machines involved in an accident are required to be rescrutineered prior to any further participation in the event.Please ensure that your numbers comply with the 2011 Manual of Motorcycle Sport.

    4. CARPORTS

    There will be club representatives at the circuit all night on Saturday night. CAMPING IS ALLOWED BUT YOURMUST BOOK IN AND PAY $5 PER PERSON PER NIGHT. ANYONE FOUND TO BE ACTING NOT IN THEINTERESTS OF THE CLUB OR THE CIRCUIT WILL BE BANNED FROM FURTHER EVENTS AS WILL ANY RIDERWHOSE TEAM THEY ARE PART OF.

    ANY MACHINES, EQUIPMENT OR BELONGINGS LEFT AT THE CIRCUIT ARE LEFT AT YOUR OWN RISK.PLEASE NOTE: If you do not leave the pit area clean the club will have to pay extra charges. These charges will be

    passed on to riders. So please help us and yourselves by cleaning up the pit area before you leave. If your area isdeemed to be inadequately cleaned, a warning letter will be sent out and upon second offence a fee will be issued

    The circuit is considered a Workplace, therefore ALL power supplies must be TESTED & TAGGED this includespower leads.The placement of power leads must be at least 2.4m above the ground or covered in approved WH&S walkwaycovers.

    5. RIDERS BRIEFING

    Riders Briefing will be conducted on both Saturday and Sunday and IS MANDATORY FOR ALL COMPETITORS.Riders not present may be fined or excluded from the days racing.

    Junior competitors are required to have a parent/guardian present at riders briefing.

    6. PRACTICE/QUALIFYING/RACING

    Practice/Qualifying/Racing will commence directly following the completion of Riders Briefing. 08:30

    7. TIME WASTING

    This meeting will run to a strict time schedule.

    A 2 MINUTE SIREN WILL SOUND. ALL COMPETITORS ARE REQUIRED TO BE IN THE DUMMY GRID AREA WITHIN THAT 2MINUTE PERIOD. A THIRTY SECOND SIREN WILL SOUND. THE DUMMY GRID WILL BE OPEN FOR 30 SECONDS. AFTERTHIS TIME, ANY COMPETITOR WHO HAS NOT EXITED THE DUMMY GRID WILL START THE RACE FROM PIT LANEUNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE PIT MARSHAL.

    Do not dawdle on the warm-up lap, Riders who hang back on the warm-up lap may be stopped from taking up their grid positionsand be required to start from the rear of the grid.

    8. PIT LANE

    Pit lane is not accessible to persons under the age of 16 years AT ALL.Fully enclosed toe footwear must be worn within this area at all times.

    You must be signed on at the Race Secretary to be able to use the SIGNALLING AREA.EACH RIDER IS ALLOWED ONE PERSON IN THE SIGNALLING AREA DURING THEIR EVENT, THIS PERSON MUST BE

    SIGNALLING.9. JUNIOR COMPETITORS SPECIAL NOTES

    Junior competitors are reminded that they must present their Motorcycling Australia Junior Log Book for collection when signing on.Parents/Guardians are also required to countersign Junior signatures at sign on.

    Junior competitors not being accompanied to the event by a parent must present a suitably signed Guardianship Form whensigning on. Guardianship forms are available from www.ma.org.au

    10. SPONSOR DECALSRelevant sponsor stickers will be provided at rider sign on. It is a mandatory requirement that these stickers be placed onmachinery when requested to do so by the promoter.

    11. CANTEEN

    The Canteen will be open from 9am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday.12. METRAKIT Series

    13. PENALTIESPassing Under Yellow Flags

    Riders who are seen to gain an advantage by overtaking between the point displaying a yellow flag and the point displayinga green flag will be penalised at the discretion of the Clerk of Course.

    False StartsRiders who false start will be penalized with BY A 3 place relegation at the discretion of the Clerk of Course.

    BURN-OUTSRiders who perform Burn-outs anywhere in the confines of the Morgan Park Precinct will incur a $1,000 fine and will bebanned from ANY further participation at any events at Morgan Park.
