Purpose and Background of the Manual Originally written by Mr. W. Lewis from 1993 to 1994, with World

Bank assistance to FIDIC.

Updated 2001 – 2003 by Capacity Building Task Force, with Specialist Contributions.

Orientation is to Management and Staff of a “Young Firm” withaspirations to become a “Sustainable Consulting Business”.

Sections also very useful for Management Training Programs withinDeveloped Economy Firms.

Teaching Method: “Team Teaching” a team of Two Lecturers, made classes more interesting. required lots of coordination between the Lecturers but very good results.

They covered chapters 1 to 4 of the G2P.

To ensure better class discussions and Team work, we divided the

participants in two Classes.

The 1st Module in Farsi and the 2nd Module in Farsi and English

Language.
