Shhh, Santa is Coming...Santa Visit.Ms Carmen’s Classes: December 21st, 4 yr olds, 11 am. December 22nd, 3 yr olds, 11 am.Santa Visit.Ms Nataliya’s Classes: December 21st, 4 yr olds, 11:15 am. December 22nd, 3 yr olds, 11:15 am & 2:15 pm.Put on your tinsel, it’s time to party! Santa will give each child a small gift,so, to avoid disappointment, please do not bring any siblings. Parents arewelcome to attend for Santa’s visit. Everyone, please give a BIG thank-you to our registrar: Nicole Trottier for lining up Santa! & don’t forgetto thank Santa too!We will need 3 extra parents in each class from 10:30 am to 11:30am and 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm for Christmas stations in the classroom.

Nurse VisitDecember 5th, 4 year-olds • December 6th, 3 year-oldsSherry Dow, Public Health Nurse, nurse will talk to the children about howto keep themselves healthy this winter and do a special hand washingdemonstration.

Librarian VisitDecember 12th, 4 year-olds, 10:40am - 11:00amDecember 13th, 3 year-olds, 10:50 am - 11:30 and 1:50pm - 2:30 pmLibrary Orientation: Michelle, the librarian, will visit the 3 & 4-year-oldclasses o give an orientation about the library. She will read stories and helpprepare the children for their monthly visits to the Library in the New Year.Visits to the library start in January. All children will require a library card tocheck out books. These library cards are free. If your child does not have alibrary card please complete a Library card form and return it to the library.These forms are available at the library.

Body MovesDecember 2, 2011Canmore Rec. CentreIn December, the 4 year olds willbegin Body Moves. A series of phys-ical education classes offered by avariety of highly talented coachesand athletes from our community.They will take the bus from the Pre-school, departing at 10:20 am andarriving at the Canmore RecreationCentre at 10:30 am.

**Very important**- on these daysparent pickup for the 4 year oldswill be from the Rec Centre at11:30 am - for all classes exceptApril we will be in the communityhall (upstairs).

Our first Body Move class will beDecember 2nd. It will be taught byMiss Jill - a talented dancer & in-structor, generously provided to ourstudents from Rythym of the HeartDance Academy. Our students willenjoy a class of dance & creativemovement, music, games and bodyawareness!

Thanks lastly again, to the parentswho are helping to make theRocky Mountain Raffle a bigsuccess. We are just about soldout and need everyone withoutstanding tickets to try to sellthem all by Nov. 30th.

The draw is Dec. 8th at the Eaglesgame. We might need a volunteerto help sell tickets at the Eaglesgame the night of the draw.

Music ClassDecember 5th & 19th. 4 year-olds: 10:15 am- 11:15 amWe are pleased to invite the return of "pre-school music legend" SueDenton back for another year of music classes. Sue is a well travelled,well rounded musician. She has performed in orchestras, jazz bands,concert bands and with smaller groups. Sue's solo career has a focus onfolk music, but the variety in her experience flavours her music.Sue has been focusing on being a mom to her 3 children but is lookingforward to this years crop of new music enthusiasts!* Something to look forward to- Miss Sue will begin music classes for the3 yr olds in January!

Seeds of EmpathyDecember 14th, 4 year-olds, Ms. CarmenDecember 19th, 4 year-olds, Ms. NatayliaThe Seeds of Empathy Program helps children to learn about ababy's needs and development and gives them the opportunity tosee a loving relationship grow between parent and baby. Classesare taught by a family Guide trained to give lessons on how a babygrows, naming and talking about feelings and thinking about thefeelings of others. We welcome this years families. The 4 year oldclasses should expect visits every 3 weeks.
