Located on the Fort Dodge campus, the Iowa Central Fuel Testing Laboratory was created by a partnership with the renewable fuel industry, led by the Iowa Biodiesel Board, National Biodiesel Board, state of Iowa and the US Department of Energy.

It is the mission of the laboratory to work with state and federal regulatory agencies, biofuel companies, engine manufacturers, Iowa Department of Agriculture Weights and Measures, state and national industry associations and the media to make sure the training, public awareness and testing needs of their members and consumers are met.

The laboratory is BQ-9000 Accredited and will be able to provide timely and cost effective testing and related services.

The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) offers a full suite of tests for the North American biodiesel and

ethanol industries. The state-of-the-art SRC Biofuels Test Centre™ is located in Regina, Saskatchewan,

Canada.

Our capabilities complement the broad range of testing services that SRC has successfully provided to the

petroleum industry for more than 20 years. We perform full ASTM D6751 specification testing as well as ASTM

D6079 HFRR Lubricity testing on biodiesel. We also perform the full range of specification tests for CAN/CGSB-

3.517 (Diesel), ASTM D7467 (B6-B20 Blends) and CAN/CGSB-3.520 (B1-B5 Blends), as well as Water Content

(ASTM D6304) and Biodiesel Content (ASTM D7371).
