COSI’s Early Childhood Team will bring science right into your toddler classroom. Our workshops begin by reading a popular early childhood book, followed by hands-on activities that promote fine motor, gross motor, language, and cognitive development, as well as creative expression. These experiences are closely connected with Ohio’s Infant and Toddler Guidelines. Available in Franklin, Licking, Delaware, Union, Madison, Pickaway, and Fairfield Counties. Early Childhood Field Trip WorkshopsCOSI’s Early Childhood Field Trip Workshops can help with those “hard to teach” science concepts. Get down and dirty in our Early Childhood Workshop Space and explore a variety of topics. Have a difficult topic you don’t see listed below? Work with our Program Manager to suggest a topic and design your own workshop (additional costs may apply). Early Childhood Field Trip Workshops include hands-on activities, post-visit activities for the teachers, and pre-printed take home letters for each student.

Consider COSI Academy, COSI’s career exploration program for students in grades 9–12 considering science, technology, engineering, math, and health careers. COSI Academy meets at COSI on the first Saturday of every month (excluding holidays) from October to May.
