ProgramThe Alberta Elite youth program is a program that is here to work on the development of young athletes. This

program gives players an opportunity to develop their handball skills as well an opportunity to play international games in tournaments around the world. This year we are looking for player in U-18,

U-16

Alberta Girls in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2009

Training Camp Training camps will take place once a month on a weekend and is mandatory for all athletes wishing to go on the summer trip (note: a minimum of 10 players is needed to send a team and a max of 14.) The cost of each camp is $20 which will go toward gym time, Tape fees and all extra money toward the trip.

Trainings camps will be once a month starting in September (Dates will be set by August 15th)

(All camps are at U of A Education gym or Strathcona Christian academy)

USA School Nationals May 27-29th.

Sweden/Denmark July 2nd-17th

USA SchoolNational Championships

The team selected for the Europe trip will also go to the USA School Championships which they will play the best teams in USA.

European Trip

The 2011 Trip will consist of the Partille cup in Gothenburg Sweden July 4-10th and then off to Alborg, Denmark July 11-16th for the Dronninglund Cup. Each tournament the teams will play 6-8 games.

ATHL LeagueThe team will also play in the ATHL Jr League. As well players play on their club team as well. All games are played on Sunday. At Strathcona Christian Academy or U of A Ed Gym

Cost $3,000 plus (Curling bonspiel) Each camp is $20.00

Fundraisers Fundraising will be organized and

Deadlines September 5th- $250 Deposit. Jan 5th (Selection of team) January 30th- $1,000 March 30th- $1,000 June 1st - $750.00
