The following notification shall be published in an extraordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette: dated the 28th December, 2009.

N O T I F I C A T I O N

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 read with sub-section(1) of

section 40 of the Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961 (Central Act No.27 of 1961), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the schedule under rule-5 of the Andhra Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Rules, 1963 and the same having been issued in G.O.Ms.No.66, Labour, Employment, Training and Factories (Lab.II) Department, dated 17.11.2003 and previously published in Rules Supplement to Part-I of Extraordinary of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.60, dated 05.12.2003, as required under sub-section (1) of section 40 of the said Act, after considering the objections and suggestions received in the matter.

The revised rates of fees of registration/renewal so fixed shall come into force

with effect from the date of publication of this notification in Andhra Pradesh Gazette.

A M E N D M E N T

In Rule 5, for the schedule, the following shall be substituted namely:

The amount of registration / renewal fees as shown in the table above shall be remitted by the employer by way of challan in the respective Treasury Office to the following head of account every year in the month of October in respect of renewal.

Major Head 0230 - Labour & Employment Minor Head 101 - Receipt under the Labour laws Sub-Head 01 - Remittance to the Labour Laws Detailed Head 001 -

The fees chargeable for renewal shall be the same as for grant of registration. Penal fee is attracted in case of non-renewal of registration within the time prescribed from 50% to 100% of the renewal fees for delay of 15 days to 3 months.
