IN THE PROFESSIONAL RANKS2008 William and Mary graduate Megan Moulton-Levy wrapped up her collegiate career atop the Tribe record books and has since moved on to play on the professional women’s tour. Moulton-Levy achieved a career-best world singles ranking of 237 and a career-high world doubles ranking of 154 during the 2009 season.

During the 2009 season, Moulton-Levy earned both a singles quarterfinal and semifinal appearance playing in numerous ITF events throughout the world. In doubles play, she has been extremely successful earning four finals appearances, three semifinals appearances and advancing to the quarterfinals in six other tournaments. Moulton-Levy won her first career singles crown on the pro tour at the Fifth-Third Classic in Evansville, Ind., in July of 2008. She also recorded a pair of doubles event titles, winning International events in Puebla, Mexico, and London, England, in 2008.

CHAMPIONSHIP-CALIBER PROGRAM- Over the last four years, the Tribe program has won three individual na-tional championships and garnered another runner-up finish. The W&M duo of Megan Moulton-Levy and Katarina Zoricic took home the doubles crown at the 2006 ITA National Indoor Championship before advancing to the title match of the NCAA Doubles Championship in 2007. Ragini Acharya won the ITA Summer National Singles Championship in 2007 and 2008.

- The College has won 20 CAA Championships in the 24-year history of the conference. The Tribe has earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament on 17 occasions and in 2007 advanced to the round of 16 for the first time since 2003.

- On 17 occasions, the Tribe has taken home an individual champion-ship (single or doubles) at the ITA East Regional. Senior Ragini Acharya claimed the region singles crown in 2008.

TRIBE ON THE ROADOver the last four years, the Tribe has made trips to the following states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Ken-tucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Each of the last two seasons, the Tribe played three-match stretches in California, while playing three matches in Texas in 2008. This season, W&M will travel to Puerto Rico for two matches. The College has also competed in the ITA National Indoor Championship on 12 occasions.

ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITYThe Tribe has not only been a success on the court, but it has also been an active member of the community as well. During both the fall of 2006 and of 2007, the women’s tennis program took park in the Raise a Racket tennis fundraiser to benefit March of Dimes, an organization that helps fight prematurity, birth defects and infant mortality. W&M student-athletes coached and played matches, with and against, the event’s participants. The Tribe also checked participants in and sold raffle tickets at the event.

In the fall of 2005, both the men’s and women’s tennis programs helped raise money to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina. The programs held a car wash and raised $1,200, which was donated to the American Red Cross specifically for the victims of the disaster.

2008 graduate Megan Moulton-Levy, who was a four-time CAA Player of the Year, is currently playing on the professional tour and owns career-best world rankings of No. 237 in singles and No. 154 in doubles.

Dedicated to excellence in academics and athletics, the Col-lege of William and Mary in historic Colonial Williamsburg is proud to offer one of the finest athletic facilities in the country—the Mc-Cormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center. Located on South Henry Street adjacent to the graduate housing complex, the McCormack-Na-gelsen Tennis Center, which opened in 1995, boasts impeccable tennis facilities and houses the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Women’s Tennis Hall of Fame. Recently, the courts at the Tennis Center were resurfaced during the summer of 2007. The facility was made possible through a generous gift from Mark H. McCormack, a 1951 graduate of William and Mary, and his wife, former world-class tennis professional Betsy Nagelsen. As the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of International Management Group, McCormack was widely recog-nized as the founder of the sports marketing industry. The McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center features six indoor tennis courts using the GreenSet GrandPrix Surface (rubberized base under color coat), air conditioning and indirect lighting at a competitive level. The facility also includes member and team locker rooms, several spacious lobbies and spectator viewing that boasts 362 stadium seats as well as a mezzanine seating area. In addition, the ITA and Rolex generously donated a state-of-the-art electronic scoreboard. The Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Women’s Tennis Hall of Fame contains a collection of artifacts and records pertaining to collegiate women’s tennis, and enshrines former players, coaches and contributors that have impacted the sport. The Hall of Fame also functions as a library, archive and research center for intercol-legiate women’s tennis.

The Tribe women’s tennis team enters its second season under the direction of head coach Meredith Geiger-Walton and will sport of a bit of a different look with four incoming freshmen joining a group of four returners. Leading the way for the Green and Gold will be a pair of seniors in All-CAA players Ragini Acharya and Car-men Pop as well as redshirt junior Lauren Sabacinski. Last season, the College tal-lied 10 dual-match wins while playing an incredibly difficult schedule, but included in the victories was a triumph over top-20 Texas at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend. Acharya, Pop and Sabacinski arrived at the College as a heralded recruiting class and have combined for 185 singles wins and 153 doubles victories. As a team, the Green and Gold have tallied a 48-23 dual-match record, including a pair of CAA Championships and two NCAA Tourna-ment appearances. Acharya returns as the College’s top player after playing at the No. 2 singles slot last season. Over her career, Acharya enters her final campaign with 85 singles wins, just 12 wins shy of moving into the Tribe’s all-time top 10 for career singles wins. She is a three-time First-Team All-CAA in singles and a two-time first team doubles honoree. Acharya entered the 2009 fall season ranked No. 107 nation-ally. Last season, Acharya led the team in singles victories with 21. Pop continued to show improvement last season and capped the year by gar-nering Third-Team All-CAA honors in sin-gles competition. She finished the year with a 20-12 singles ledger, including a team-best 14 dual-match victories, while playing primarily at the No. 4 singles slot. She was also one of three players to win at least 20 singles and 20 doubles match-es last season. Pop was named CAA co-Player of the Week after going 2-0 against

No. 45 Auburn and No. 62 Marshall. She clinched five of the Tribe’s dual-match wins on the year, including the team’s 4-3 upset of No. 16 Texas. After turning in a stellar first two sea-sons with the Green and Gold, Sabacinski missed the majority of last season with an injury. She suffered a season-ending injury during the fall season and missed all of the Tribe’s spring action. In her initial two campaigns with the College, she was a mainstay in the lineup, winning 50 singles matches in the process. Sabacinski owns a trio of wins over nationally ranked oppo-nents during her career, showing her abil-ity to compete at the highest levels. Like Sabacinski, sophomore Katie Kargl battled injury through most of her rookie campaign. She gutted out nearly every one of her singles matches, while tallying a team-best winning percentage of 65.5 percent and finished with a 19-10 ledger. She capped the fall campaign of her rookie season ranked No. 29 in the ITA East Region after amassing a team-best 12-5 mark. Kargl also recorded 15 doubles victories during her first season with the Green and Gold. Along with the four returning players, the College welcomes four incoming fresh-men to the fold in Anik Cepeda, Marlen Mesgarzadeh, Amanda Morejon and Nina Vulovich. A five-star recruit from the Tennis Recruiting Network, Cepeda finished last year ranked second in the state of Texas and was a four-time regional champion. She earned a career-best national rank-ing of No. 68 from the Tennis Recruiting Network in 2008. Cepeda was a four-time district champion and finished fifth at the Texas Grand Slam. Mesgarzadeh was ranked as high as No. 538 in the ITA Junior Combined World Rankings prior to joining the Tribe. She was also ranked as high as No. 58 in the

German women’s rankings and as high as No. 5 in the junior rankings. Mesgarzadeh won the 2006 German Doubles Champi-onship. Vulovich, like Cepeda, joins the Tribe with national credentials, playing at Blue-print Academy. She was ranked as high as No. 59 nationally by the Tennis Recruiting Network in 2006. Vulovich also garnered the No. 83 spot in the final 2005 USTA Na-tional Junior Girls U16 Rankings. Morejon is the final addition to the Tribe class out of Berkeley Prep in Flor-ida. She was the Berkeley team MVP during each of her final four seasons and played on the varsity from seventh grade on. Morejon was undefeated during both her junior and senior seasons and claimed regional and district championships during her final two seasons. The Tribe will once again play a chal-lenging schedule that includes matches against 16 teams that finished last sea-son in the national rankings. The College will play at least three top five teams from last season with the possibility of playing a fourth. The Green and Gold will have match ups with No. 1 Duke, No. 2 North-western and No. 5 Notre Dame. The Tribe could also face No. 3 Georgia in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend. The College will meet CAA foe Georgia State in the first round of the event with the winner facing the vic-tor between Georgia and No. 54 Virginia Tech. The Tribe also face No. 28 Virginia, No. 30 Florida International, No. 37 Ohio State, No. 40 Wake Forest, No. 44 VCU, No. 45 Princeton, No. 40 Yale, No. 53 Old Dominion, No. 59 Boston University, No. 62 Brown and No. 67 Marshall during the dual match season.

Second Season at W&M Arizona State (1995)MEREDITH GEIGER-WALTON

HEAD COACH

Meredith Geiger-Walton enters her second season as the head women’s ten-nis coach at the College. In the first season under her tutelage, the Tribe tallied 10 victories, including five over nationally ranked foes. Included in those wins was an upset of then-No. 16-ranked Texas, 4-3, in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend In Geiger-Walton’s first season, the Tribe finished the year ranked No. 49 nationally, despite battling a slew of injuries. In total, three players recieved All-CAA honors, including a pair of returning athletes in Ragini Acharya and Carmen Pop. Last season, Acharya won the ITA East Region singles championship and advanced to the round of 16 in each of the first two national singles championships of the season at the ITA All-American Championships and the ITA National Indoor Championships. Acharya and Katarina Zoricic defeated a trio of national top-25 teams during the season and finished the year ranked No. 54 nationally. Geiger-Walton joined the W&M coaching ranks after spending the last seven years as the Director of the Tennis Academy at the St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas. She was a standout player at Arizona State during her collegiate days and went on to play professionally on the WTA tour for three years. Recently, Geiger-Walton was selected by the United States Tennis Associa-tion (USTA) to coach in the Bonne Bell Maureen Connolly Brinker Cup interna-tional team competition between the U.S. and Australia for Girls Under 14. The yearly event was held in November of 2008 and pitted junior girls from the United States against their counterparts from Australia. Geiger-Walton was also named the 2008 USPTA National Touring Coach of the Year. As the Director of Tennis, Geiger-Walton recruited boarding student-athletes to St. Stephen’s, and then worked toward placing the student-athletes in universi-ties suitable for a balance of both academics and tennis. She had players graduate and play collegiate tennis at Texas, Yale, Columbia, Brown, Boston University, Ohio State, Tulsa, New Mexico, Air Force Academy, St. Louis, Portland, Clare-mont McKenna, Rhode Island and Whitman University. The Tennis Academy also produced players who have earned USTA balls, sportsmanship awards and high academic awards, such as valedictorian. Geiger-Walton also served on the Texas Coaches Commission during her time in Austin. She is a certified USPTA P1 and has completed the USTA High Performance Coaches workshop. In 2005, she led the USTA Texas junior Fed Cup team to its first championship in 23 years. She has also been a presenter at the USTA Tennis Teachers Conference in New York, as well as a speaker at USPTA Texas and CATA conventions. In 2007, Geiger-Walton was named the USPTA/Texas Touring Coach of the Year. Geiger-Walton is no stranger to coaching collegiate tennis after serving as an assistant coach at the University of Texas in Austin for two seasons. During her tenure with the Longhorns, Texas won the Big 12 Championship and advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 in both 2001 and 2002. The Longhorns finished the 2001 campaign ranked No. 13 nationally and jumped to No. 10 at the completion of the 2002 season. During her two seasons with Texas, the program produced nine Academic All-Big 12 honorees, five all-conference singles players and two all-conference doubles teams. In 2002, Geiger-Walton was named the ITA Assistant Coach of the Year for the Southwest Region. From 1994-96, Geiger-Walton was a WTA tour player. Following her pro-fessional playing career, she served as Director of Player Development for the Southwest section of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) from 1997-98. Geiger-Walton coached at St. Stephen’s from 1998-00 as Director of Girls’ Tennis. During her collegiate career, Geiger-Walton was a standout player for Ari-zona State. A four-year letterwinner for the Sun Devils, she earned All-American honors during her senior campaign. Geiger-Walton was a two-time All-Pac 10 Conference selection in 1994 and 1995, while also receiving Pac 10 Conference All-Academic Team honors all four years. She received her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology in 1995. A 1990 graduate of Casady, an Episcopal school in her hometown of Oklaho-ma City, Okla., Geiger-Walton was a superb scholar-athlete who earned 10 USTA national doubles titles, the Bill Talbert USTA National Sportsmanship Award and a silver medal at the 1989 U.S. Olympic Festival. From ages 12 to 18, she was ranked in the top 10 nationally for USTA juniors every year. Geiger-Walton and her husband, Matt, have two children, Jett (5) and Cash (2).

William and Mary’s rise to national prominence is due, at least in part, to the team’s success at the NCAA Championships. In 13 of the last 15 seasons, and 17 overall, the Tribe has competed in the NCAA Championships as a team, while also sending numerous individuals to the NCAA Cham-pionships in singles and doubles. Although the College had previously placed athletes in the NCAA Tournament as individuals or doubles teams, William and Mary first reached the NCAAs as a team in 1989. In the spring of 1992, the Tribe achieved its first victory at the NCAA Tournament, defeating 15th-ranked Miami in the first round. In the spring of 1997 the Tribe earned its first victory in the round of 16. The Green and Gold posted a 5-0 victory over fifth-ranked Georgia to earn a trip to the quarterfinals for the first time in school history. In 1998, the Tribe again advanced to the quarterfinals earning a 5-3 victory over sixth-ranked California in the round of 16. In 2007, the Tribe returned to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2003 season. The College garnered the No. 15 seed in the tournament and hosted the NCAA Regional, while rolling past Richmond and Wake Forest. The Tribe saw its first NCAA All-American in 1991 when Kristine Kurth advanced to the second round. Julie Shiflet would pick up the honor in 1992 when she reached the round of 16. Karen van der Merwe earned two of her three All-America honors in 1992 when she advanced to the round of 16 on the singles side and teamed with Michele Mair to reach the round of 16 on the doubles side. She added her third honor in doubles in 1993 when she teamed with Katrin Guenther to reach the quarterfinals. Guenther would add another All-America honor in 1995 when she teamed with Lauren Nikolaus to reach the quarterfinals at the NCAAs. Nikolaus would add a whopping five more All-America honors to the Tribe’s trophy case, as she captured the award in singles in 1996, 1997 and 1998 and in doubles with Johanna Sones in 1997 and Michelle O in 1998. The first individual to represent the Tribe was Namratha Appa-Roa, who qualified in the singles draw in 1986. During the past 20 years, W&M has placed a member of the team in the singles draw of the NCAAs 25 times, while 17 teams qualified for the doubles championship. Moulton-Levy and then-senior Candice Fuchs competed in the NCAA Doubles Tournament in 2005, with Moulton-Levy also earning a berth in the singles tournament. The duo reached the quarterfinals of the event and earned All-American honors. It was the second straight year that a W&M doubles team reached the quarterfinals, as 2006 graduate Megan Muth and 2005 graduate Amy Wei also accomplished the feat in 2004. In 2006, Moulton-Levy left her mark on the NCAA Singles Championship, becoming the first W&M player to advance to the semifinals of the 64-player tournament. She earned All-America honors for the second time in her career, defeating a pair of top-10 foes on the way to the semifi-nals. Moulton-Levy went on to garner All-America honors in singles during both the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Although William and Mary can boast of team accomplishments at the NCAA Championships, numerous individuals and doubles teams have also had success at the NCAAs. Megan Moulton-Levy and Katarina Zoricic advanced to the championship round of the NCAA Doubles Tournament in 2007, the deepest a W&M doubles team or singles player has ever advanced at the event. Last season, the pair advanced to the quarterfinals to earn All-America honors for the second straight season. In all, 13 different athletes have captured 26 All-America honors for William and Mary, while 29 different athletes have represented the team in 46 events at the NCAAs in either singles or doubles since 1986.

The Tribe advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 in 2007 after winning a pair of regional matches in Williamsburg as the No. 15 seed.

WILLIAM AND MARY ALL-CAA SELECTIONS

W&M WINS VS. THE TOP 10

William and Mary has enjoyed considerable success against the top women’s programs in the nation. Since 1995, the year the Tribe de-feated top-ranked and defending team indoor, NCAA outdoor and ITA indoor champion Georgia in Athens, 17 top-10 teams have fallen to the Green and Gold. In 2007, the Tribe knocked off then-No. 1, ITA indoor champion and eventual NCAA National Champion Georgia Tech, 4-3, in Champaign, Ill.

Res

ultsWilliam and Mary match-by-match re-

sults for every season since 1978-79. Women’s tennis competition began at W&M in the 1921-22 academic year, but results are not consistently available until the 1978-79 season. W&M began playing women’s tennis as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association in the 1984-85 season. The CAA champion has been determined by a dual-match tournament beginning with the 1995 season. Prior to that, the league cham-pion was determined by an individual tournament.

The ITA Women’s Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame was created to celebrate the milestones in women’s collegiate tennis, from the early struggles for recognition to the achievement of full-fledged intercollegiate competition. Established by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, the Hall of Fame is operated by the College of William and Mary and is housed in the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center on the William and Mary campus. The Hall of Fame aspires to preserve the history and further the development of women’s intercollegiate tennis through the collection of printed materials, trophies, photographs, equip-ment and other significant items. Each year, the Hall of Fame enshrines exceptional players, coaches and contributors in women’s intercollegiate tennis. The ITA Hall of Fame Committee selects inductees from the fol-lowing categories:

• Outstanding collegiate players • Players who attended college and had a significant impact on women’s tennis • Outstanding collegiate coaches • Individuals or corporations playing a major role in the development of women’s intercollegiate tennis

ITA WOMEN’S HALL OF FAME CURATOR MILLIE WEST

Millie West serves as the curator of the ITA Women’s Colle-giate Tennis Hall of Fame. An integral part of William and Mary ath-letics for more than 40 years, she is currently Director of Special Projects for W&M, after retiring in 1991 as the College’s Associate Athletics Director. West also served as Women’s Athletics Director and coached both tennis and swimming in her tenure. A highly successful fundraiser, she has been a key in the success of the four BASF Wightman Cup tennis tournaments held at the College, as well as the Joseph J. Plumeri/W&M Pro-Am golf tournament which has reaped great benefits for the Tribe. West coordinated W&M’s Indoor Tennis Center Project, which brought

the state-of-the-art McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center to the Williamsburg campus. She was inducted into the ITA Women’s Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame in 1998, and has also been se-lected to the William and Mary and Mid-Atlantic Tennis Hall of Fame. A 1957 graduate of Georgia College, West received that school’s Alumni Achievement Award. William and Mary lost a favorite son on May 16, 2003, with the death of Mark Hume McCormack, a 1951 graduate of the College. McCormack had been in coma since January after suffering a heart attack. Named by ESPN as one of the century’s most influential people in the business of sport, he revolutionized the world of sports marketing with the founding of International Management Group (IMG). A devoted and dedicated supporter of Tribe athletics, he and his wife, Bet-sy Nagelsen founded W&M’s McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center, endowed a tennis scholarship and were continuing sponsors of the ITA Women’s Tennis Hall of Fame. Also a member of W&M’s Board of Visitors, McCormack chaired the College’s fund-raising campaign in 1993 that raised $153 million and was the honorary chair of a campaign for William and Mary, which raised over $500 million for the College.

WILLIAM & MARY REFLECTS ON THE LIFE OF MARK MCCORMACK

“Mark McCormack was truly an honored son of the College. Few individuals in the course of their lifetime have the chance to see and feel and know the influence they have had on the quality and character of an institution. Mark’s influence on William and Mary can be seen not only in the physical buildings he made possible by his generosity, but in the highest level of excellence he expected from his alma mater and from those of us fortunate enough to call him a friend.” - Former W&M President Timothy J. Sullivan

“Obviously his loss is enormous, to both the athletics department and the gen-eral campus community. He was an icon and a founder of an industry and his generosity touched many within the W&M community. What made Mark even more special was, despite his hectic schedule, he always found the time to show a special interest in the lives of our student-athletes and took the time to establish lasting personal relationships.” - W&M Director of Athletics Terry Driscoll

“There is no way that I can adequately express the loss of a person like Mark McCormack. He was a devoted contributor of time, resources and talent to the College of William and Mary, and especially the men’s and women’s tennis programs.” - W&M Director of Special Projects Millie West

“Personally, the area that impressed me most about Mark McCor-mack was that he always wanted to blend in and not stand out. He came to the tennis center he built for our program and would just want to watch, he wasn’t out to call attention to himself or make himself look impressive. Professionally, he was the W&M men’s tennis program. He donated the money and vision to build the best tennis center in the nation, but he also gave the program much more in terms of his time and interest in its progress and success.” - W&M Head Men’s Tennis Coach Peter Daub

“There are not enough words to describe what Mark McCor-mack has done for me and the W&M women’s tennis program. His generosity and support played a direct role in all of our team’s successes. One of the many traits that I truly admired was his ability to treat everyone with respect and make them feel special and appreciated.”

The College of William and Mary is a public uni-versity located in Williamsburg, Va. Founded in 1693 by Royal Charter issued by King William III and Queen Mary II of England, William and Mary is the second oldest college in the country after Harvard. William and Mary has a long history of liberal arts education and a growing research and science curriculum that demonstrates a strong commitment to undergraduate research. The College, which became a state university in 1906, has been designated a “Public Ivy,” and for nine straight years has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the sixth-best public university in the country – and the nation’s top small public university. Also referred to as “the alma mater of a nation,” the College has educated four U.S. Presidents – George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe and John Tyler, which is the third most of any college in the coun-try. William and Mary also claims several firsts, including the 1776 creation of Phi Beta Kappa – the country’s first academic honor society – the first honor code of conduct for college students, and the first collegiate law school, es-tablished in 1779. William and Mary is also home to the Sir Christopher Wren Building – the country’s oldest academic building still in use – and the President’s House, the oldest home of a university president still in use.

The College of William and Mary sponsors 23 varsity sports and provides students with a unique and successful balance of athletics and academics. The Tribe Athletics Department finished 99th nationally (as of May 28) in the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup Standings for 2008-09, a number that ranked second among Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) programs and fourth in the state of Virginia. The Directors’ Cup, which was created by the NACDA and USA Today in 1993-94, is a program that honors institutions maintaining a broad-based program, achieving success in many sports, both men’s and women’s. W&M has placed among the top 100 nationally in 12 of the program’s 16 years, while leading the CAA on seven occasions. W&M has produced more CAA Championships than any program in the league’s history. The College owns 95 league crowns, nearly 40 more than its closest competitor. The Tribe raked in the awards in 2008-09 as well, tallying a combined 197 all-conference honors, 34 All-America honors and six league players of the year. During the 2008-09 season, the Green and Gold produced an overall athletics winning percentage of 68.2, while racking up a combined 888 wins. Along with its accomplishments on the field of play, the Tribe is just as successful in the classroom, epitomizing the term student-athlete. In the NCAA’s inaugural Academic Prog-ress Report in 2005, W&M ranked fourth among Division I teams, which was the highest of any athletic scholarship-granting school and of any public school. Since the inception of the CAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year, W&M has produced 28 honorees, more than any school in the conference. WWW.TRIBEATHLETICS.COM

William and Mary is committed to building and maintaining outstanding facilities for all 23 of its varsity athletic teams. The College has demonstrated this commit-ment by investing approximately $16 million toward the construction and upgrade of its athletics facilities during just the last six years. Among W&M’s recent projects was the construction of the $11 million, 30,000-square foot Jimmye Laycock Foot-ball Center, which was dedicated in June of 2008. This past summer, Busch Field experienced a renovation that included a total revamp of the field, underlying pad, and drainage systems. The renovation created a competition surface that ranks alongside those used at the U.S. National Training Centers in Virginia Beach, Va., Chula Vista, Calif., and that used at last year’s Olympic Games. In 2005, Kaplan Arena received an upgrade with the installation of 6,900-square foot permanent wood floor along with rubberized sports flooring on the open end of the arena to accomodate track and field and other multi-purpose activities. A year earlier, the home of Tribe soccer and lacrosse, Albert-Daly Field was dedicated, providing the programs with a $1 million all-natural grass facility.
