Attendance at General Meetings is required. Members must attend two of three consecutive general meetings…to be eligible to receive games assignments.

COLLECTING ON NON-PAYMENT
•Have a system for tracking your game schedule and payment
•PUBLIC SCHOOLS -If payment is outstanding for three wks
•Contact the school bookkeeper first
•She/he should have a record of approving and submitting form for payment to the Broward Schools/BCAA office.
•If bookkeeper has no record, contact school AD
•Note the date and time if it was submitted
•Checks are cut on specific days so within a week of the submission of your form the check should be cut.
•If nothing after an additional week contact the BCAA office.
COLLECTING ON NON-PAYMENT
•PRIVATE SCHOOLS –
•There will be a system for you to get paid.
•Sometimes they will give you cash
•Sometimes they will give you a check made payable to cash
•Sometimes they will require information from you and mail you a check
•If no one approaches you ask someone of authority at the school
•In any event work the game and contact me the next day via email
COLLECTING ON NON-PAYMENT
•Have a system for tracking your game schedule and payment
•PRIVATE SCHOOLS –
•Check with the school bookkeeper to see if there is a record of processing. If there is she/he will be able to tell you when the check is cut.
•If they don’t have a record that you worked, contact the AD of that school.
•Usually there is not a problem with private schools.
•If you have exhausted this process and you still have not been paid contact me
AT SITE OR DAY OF CANCELLATION
•Schools are required to give at least 24 hours of notice if a game is cancelled
•If you arrive at a site and the game has been cancelled within the 24 hour window you should be paid.
•Notify Harry first.
•We will work with you to get paid in a timely basis. It is your responsibility to stay on Harry and I to make sure you get paid.
•The longer it goes without action and follow up on your part, the less the likelihood you will be paid.

•As soon as it is received and deposited, checks will be cut
STATE SERIES CLINIC INFORMATION
The BCBOA has about 29 Officials that have not had a State Field Clinic since or prior to 2005. You must take the field clinic this Fall to be eligible to participate in the State Series.

STATE SERIES CLINIC INFORMATION
In light of the economic times the FHSAA has approved an extension of Saturday hours at the South Gulf Coast State Field Clinic in Cape Coral on October 24th. The clinic hours will be extended to 9.5 hrs. on Saturday. More details to follow.

6. It is an alternating-possession throw-in when A1’s throw-in lodges between the backboard and the ring.
19.Continuous motion has no significance unless there is a foul by the offense during the interval between the habitual throwing movement and when the ball is clearly in flight.
23.A player-control foul may occur during an interrupted dribble.
33.Except for the first marked lane spaces that must be occupied by the defense during a free throw, players are permitted to occupy any vacant marked lane space within the numerical limits.
37.A player occupying a marked lane space may not have any part of his/her body beyond the vertical plane of the lane boundary or edge of any lane space marking.

47.A bookkeeping mistake can only be corrected by the officials if it is recognized by the first dead ball after the mistake.
56.An official shall silently and visibly count seconds while administering the rules for a throw in, free throw, backcourt, closely guarded and three seconds
66.It is permissible to withdraw a player before the clock starts following his or her substitution into the game.
74.The head coach or any assistant coach may orally or visually request and be granted a time out.
96.A violation occurs when a closely-guarded A1 anywhere in A’s backcourt holds or dribbles the ball for five seconds.
