Goal
為現有溫度計機芯設計新的外觀。
To design a bath & room thermometer for the available temperature sensor.
Background嬰幼兒沐浴適宜的水溫在攝氏 35 度到 37 度，水溫計可以方便父母控制水溫，避免寶貝
被燙傷或因水溫過低而感冒。
The proper temperature of water for baby bathing is about 35 to 37 degrees. The bath thermometer
can make parents to control the temperature easily, and prevent baby from burning or getting cold.

Concept"Whale" 具有簡潔可愛的鯨魚外型，測量水溫時，就如同真正的鯨魚般悠游水中，在浴室這狹小的空間內營造出寬闊而舒適的海洋氛
圍；而在做為室溫計時，兩側的魚鰭巧妙的成為站立的支撐處，一隻倒立的鯨魚躍然而生，為一成不變的環境增添許多樂趣。
"Whale" is simple and cute, and looks like a real whale swimming in the water when measuring temperature of water. It can create a spacious and
comfortable atmosphere of the ocean in a small bathroom. On the other hand, "Whale" can also stand on its fins. So you can put it on a table to
measure room temperature, and you'll surprisingly find a handstand whale.

Features"Whale" 的尾巴造型讓使用者可以自然的抓取。尾巴的形狀已通過安全測試，家長無須擔心愛把東西往嘴裡塞的小朋友會造成傷害。
The tail of "Whale" is easy to grasp, and it is approved the safety test. So parents don't have to worry about it is dangerous to put in kids' mouth.
TPR材質不僅提供了溫柔觸感，更具備了環保無毒的優點。
The material is soft, envoronment friendly, and no poison.
排水孔設計幫助排水更加快速。
The drain holes design help "Whale" with efficient drainage.

Goal
利用現有零件開發新的電動手持吸鼻器設計。
To design a bath & room thermometer for the available temperature sensor.
User Observation
Background兒童抵抗力低，特別容易罹患感冒。且約三分之一以上的兒童為過敏性鼻炎所苦惱。一
般來說，兩歲以下的小孩還不太會自己擤鼻涕，當感冒或過敏時容易因為鼻涕塞住鼻子
而無法呼吸，此時便需要大人幫忙，而傳統親口吸出的方式極不衛生，容易造成大人感
染，因此便需要使用吸鼻器。
The proper temperature of water for baby bathing is about 35 to 37 degrees. The bath thermometer
can make parents to control the temperature easily, and prevent baby from burning or getting cold.

Concept"Woodpecker" 在操作上比一般的電動吸鼻器更順暢，且多了額外的蓄壓空間，平常時吸力自動開啟，當使用者感到吸力不足時便可以
按下蓄壓鈕蓄壓，蓄壓完畢後再放開啟動瞬間增強吸力。
"Woodpecker" is easier to use than general electric nasal aspirators and has additional space to store up the pressure. When you turn it on, the suction
will start automatically. If you feel the suction is weak, you can press the pressure buttons for a while to pressurize, and you will get momentarily
strong suction after you release the buttons.

Concept世上的顏色如此多種，都是由紅藍黃三種
顏色所組成。原本單純的三種顏色混合之
後竟能變化出這麼多種顏色，真是不可思
議。
There are all sorts of colors in the world. Which
in fact, are all mixtures by three basic colors,
Magenta, Yellow and Cyan. It's so amazing that
just by mixing three simple colors, you could get
any color you want.

Feature"原色" 將大家所熟知的三原色概念表現在調色盤上，希望使用者不被色彩所困惑，時
時提醒使用者色彩的單純有趣。對兒童而言也能在使用的過程中培養扎實的色彩觀念。
"Primary Colors" comes from the well-known concept of the CMY color model, which not only helps
the users avoid confusion by colors, but also constantly reminds them the fun and simplicity that
colors bring us.By using this product, children can also learn strong and solid notion of the color
theory.

Concept拼圖不但能增進親子間的和樂，還能訓練孩子的觀察力、反應力與歸納能力。結合碎紙
與拼圖的概念，讓碎紙機能將圖片碎成一片片的拼圖；除了可以製作獨一無二的拼圖
外，還能省下購買拼圖的花費，讓父母與孩子隨時能夠享受一起玩拼圖的樂趣！
Doing puzzle with children is not only improving the relationship of family but also training
children's ability of observing, reacting and concluding. Our goal is using the shredder to help
parents and their children to create their own puzzles. Any pattern, picture or painting on paper
can be turned into a jigsaw puzzle. At the same time family also learn to save resources and do
environmental protection.

Features1. 可分離碎紙 只要把碎紙機拿離收集盒再開始碎紙，就可以區隔想要的拼圖。
Separable Separate the top part and the bottom box, and you can distinguish the puzzle you want.
2. 手動式碎紙： 手動碎紙不僅訓練孩童手握能力，更可節省能源。
Manual Shredding manually does not only enhance the grasping ability for kids but also save the energy.

Observation 人們在購買迴紋針之後常常會把迴紋針從
原本的盒子拿出，放在另外的容器上，一
來方便拿取，二來可以使用自己喜歡的迴
紋針收納設計，比起原有的迴紋針包裝更
加的美觀。
People used to use the paper clip holders
instead of the packages to place paper clips.
Because the paper clip holders are more
convenient for picking and more pretty than the
package of paper clips.
Initial Idea以節省資源為出發點，希望可以改良迴紋
針的包裝以達到實用的目的並發揮包裝更
大的價值。
Based on resource-saving, I hope to improve
the package of paper clips to achieve the goal of
practical utility and make it more valuable.

Concept"Flip ’N’ Pick" 重新設計了迴紋針盒，美化了外型並增添實用性，更創造了新的使用方
式，使用過程變得輕鬆而有趣。使用者買來之後可以直接使用，無須再特地把迴紋針放
到其他的收納物上。
"Flip ’N’ Pick" redesigns the traditional paper clip package by adding functions and beautify the
appearance. Furthermore, Flip ’N’ Pick creates a easy, new, fun way to use. There's no need to use
another paper clip holder.

Feature 上蓋內部埋有磁鐵，能夠吸附迴紋針，因此只要優雅的將蓋子翻過來就會驚喜的發現有迴紋針在上面。此外上蓋兩面具有相同的傾
斜構造，利於迴紋針的集中與拿取。
The magnetic cover on the top is designed to attract a balanced amount of paper clips. Users can gracefully flip the cover for more access to the paper
clips. When the cover becomes empty, just flip it again! besides, the cover is inclined on both sides, which allows an easy way of picking the paper clips.

Concept"Triangle" 是三角形的多功能標籤便利貼。靈感來自於人們常會摺書角來做記號，而一般的標籤便利貼由於有一部分裸露在外，使用
起來不美觀也容易損壞。因此 Triangle 把便利貼的形狀設計成三角形，便可整齊美觀的貼在書頁角落。三角形的造型讓 Triangle 具有
良好的標示效果，且有兩種使用方式可以彈性運用 a. 將大三角形對折夾住書頁 b. 將大三角形延摺線撕開成兩個小三角形，使用者
可以自由的發展自己的使用方式。
"Triangle" is multi-functional right triangle post-it. The concept is from the behavior of people folding the pages’ corner for taking mark. User could
neatly stick Triangle on the pages’ corner without damaging books. Moreover, Triangle isn’t worn out easily as the traditional one. With such a triangle
shape, Triangle affords flexible usability. User might stick on any part of pages he/she wants to mark and create his/her own way of using Triangle.
Triangle not only enhances learning efficiency but also full of lots of fun.

Concept"Colorful World" 希望可以激發小朋友的創造力和想像力。傳統的調色盤多以幾何的造型
區隔不同的調色區域，"Colorful World" 則是讓每塊區域有了意義，當你在上面調色時，
一個花花世界就在面前展開。
"Colorful World" is designed to inspire creativity and imagination in kids. Tradition palettes are
geometric and boring; on the other hand, this design makes every single area meaningful. So when
you mix the paints, a colorful world will show up.
Feature"Colorful World" 在使用過程中，一幅繽紛的畫面會不斷的變化，為使用者帶來視覺回
饋。使用完畢後，清洗不掉的顏料不再是礙眼的汙垢，而是 "Colorful World" 的一部分。
While you are using "Colorful World", the scenes before your eyes keep changing. After you cleaning
the palette, the colors remained will become a part of "Colorful World" , not unpleasant dirt.

PET Bottles每天人們總會產生許多用過的寶特瓶，這
些寶特瓶除了回收之外可以有新的利用價
值。
People in the world produce a lot of used PET
bottles every. There are more valuable ways to
utilize these bottles except recycling.
Initial Idea一開始的靈感來源來自於人們會把寶特瓶
放到馬桶後面的水箱中以節省用水，於是
我們想到可以利用寶特瓶做些什麼。我們
目標是希望除了達到省水功能之外，可以
促進親子的互動，享受泡澡過程。
We learned from a familiar way to everyone that
put a PET bottle in the tank behind a toilet to
save water. It was not a new method, but it could
convert into our new concept. Our goal is to
save water and improve the emotions between
parents and children at the same time through
taking baths together.
Water Resources聯合國估計，在2025年之前，全球會有三
分之二的人口活在水資源短缺的壓力之
下，專家也指出全球暖化會導致水資源短
缺更加嚴重。台灣是海島型國家，水資源
蓄積本就有限，一但乾旱便會陷入水資源
匱乏的危機之中。
The United Nations estimated that before 2025,
the 2/3 populations on Earth will be under the
pressure of limited water. The expert indicated
that “the global warming will cause the water
resources to become shorter”. Taiwan is an
island nation and the water-holding capacity
is limited. Once it is arid, Taiwan will get the
scarcity of water.

Concept"蓋省水" 是可以用來套上寶特瓶的玩具蓋子，泡澡時將寶特瓶放進浴缸中便能省下一
定的水量，同時又能享受遊戲的樂趣，無須擔心浪費水，親子可以一起共度泡歡樂澡時
光。
"Water Saver" are toy caps for PET bottles that accompanies children and their parents taking
baths together, which not only saves water but also provides happy games and interaction for
family. Bottles with Water Saver will raise water level higher for bath and save the water practically.

Product1. 地鼠： 由不同顏色的泡棉製成，並在瓶蓋口有一圈橡膠可以栓住寶特瓶，。
Moles The moles are made of styrofoam and have a rubber screw to be fixed on bottles
2. 槌子： 以木頭和海棉組成，可以用他來玩打地鼠或是刷身體。
Hammer The hammer is made of wood and sponge and children can used it to beat the moles like a game or brush their parents' bodies.
3. 圈圈： 拼圖狀的裁刀將紙張碎成一片片的拼圖，使用者便可利用裁剪下來的拼圖遊戲。
Circles The circles are made of rubber and children can stack it on the moles.

Game基本的遊戲方式有打地鼠、套圈圈兩種。不僅能訓練孩子的反應力和肢體協調性，父母
更可以進一步指定地鼠的顏色或表情增添遊戲的樂趣，培養孩童對顏色和情緒的認知。
Basic games are called "Whack-A-Mole" and "Stacking Rings". Children can improve their reaction
and coordination ability through these games, and parents can train children further and get more
fun by designating colors and emotions of the moles.

Family"蓋省水" 提供一個親子互動的途徑，父
母不再只是單方面的幫孩子洗澡，而是可
以透過蓋省水享受親子互動的天倫之樂。
在過程中父母更可以教育孩子珍惜資源的
觀念，達到寓教於樂的效果。
"Water Saver" provides parents and children a
way to interact with each other. The family can
not only get fun during the bathing, but also
learn to treasure the water resources.

Asphalt 瀝青地是人類為了開發，為了因應科技進
步所創造出來的土地，孕育了人類發展卻
取代了原來孕育大自然的泥土地，被瀝青
覆蓋過的地方幾乎無法生長植物。
Asphaltic ground is a residual product of
technological life. It gestates the development
of human being, but replaces the earth of the
original nature. Asphaltic ground is almost
lifeless.
Forest Destruction世界上的森林正以我們無法預期的速度快
速的被摧毀，科學家甚至預言地球正進入
第六次大滅絕。
We are destroying the world’s precious ancient
forests at an unprecedented rate. Scientists
predict that the Earth is entering the sixth major
extinction event in its history.
Initial Idea我想將瀝青混凝土與泥土結合是蠻有趣
的，瀝青混凝土象徵了文明，泥土則是自
然。盆栽是人類能夠培育自然最簡單的方
式。只要我們願意付出一些心力，就可以
讓瀝青不但不會造成阻礙，還能保護土壤
和植物。
It is interesting to combine asphalt with soils
and apply it to plant potting. The asphalt
symbolizes civilization, and the earth symbolizes
nature. Plant pot is the simplest thing we can
obtain to join the friendly conservation with the
nature.

Concept盆栽的外觀直接套用了地球森林分布圖。表面的瀝青混凝土上頭標示了地球上僅剩的森
林範圍，使用者可以從這裡開始破壞。破壞後會顯露出被包覆的泥土，之後只要澆水就
能讓裡面的種子發芽，植物將從瀝青裂縫中生長出來。
Pot shape is a simplified Global forest distribution map. It conveys the crisis that global forest is
decreasing rapidly, reminding of the importance of environmental conservation through a straight
forward way. All you need to do is break the asphalt and pour water, and you'll find how strong the
vitality of nature is.

Usage小槌子讓使用者可以直覺性的用它來破壞
瀝青，在互動的過程中引導使用者反思產
品背後的意義，被自然的生命力所感動。
I designed a l i t t le hammer to let users
instinctively distroy the asphalt which covering
the pot to help plant growing, and then, try to
inspire users to think the meaning behind the
product through interactive processes.
Material"打破疆局" 使用的材料所為再利用的刨除料，同時也是透水料，不僅具有資源永續利
用的環保價值，相較於傳統盆栽具有更均勻的透水透氣性。
“Asphalt Pot Plant" is made of re-used asphalt concretes, with the environmental value of
sustainable use of resources.“Asphalt Plant Pot” is composed of permeable asphalt, which have
better permeability compared with the traditional plant pots.

Concept嘉義地形多樣、產業豐富，是台灣很多物產的重要來源，其中嘉義的阿里山更是台灣最
重要的茶葉產地之一。茗嘉系列是一套以嘉義地勢美景以及產業節慶為發想的茶具組，
在泡茶之餘亦能夠體會到嘉義的風光明媚以及阿里山日出的美景。
The concept of this design comes from festivals, geographical features and beautiful natural scenes
of Chiayi County. It makes users image the graceful scenery of Chiayi and the sunrise on Alishan
when they are making and tasting Taiwanese tea.

The Divine Tree / 茗嘉．神木

以阿里山神木為意象，裡面富藏著阿里山孕育出的各種名茶。增加壺嘴設計方便茶葉可
以直接倒出。
The canister represents divine trees on Alishan which has nurished plenty of famous teas. The
spout is convenient to pour the tea leaves.
The Sea / 茗嘉．海

以嘉義縣形狀為基礎，平原和海岸為意
象，排水孔採用了嘉義縣徽，泡茶時溢出
的茶水會在西側的低窪處形成海岸。
The tea tray take the shape of Chiayi as the
concept and represents the plain and the
sea.The drain hole's shape is came from
the emblem of Chiayi. The spilled tea will
accumulated at the lower west, just like the sea
shore.
The Rice Ear / 茗嘉．穗
justice cup 75 X 75 X 100 mm
以稻穗成熟時低垂的曲線為意象，亦像是收成時用的袋子。泡茶如同辛苦種茶的過程，
而將泡好的茶倒進茶海的時刻彷彿收成的喜悅。
The justice cup is symbolizing the rice with heavier ears bending lower. Preparation of tea is not
easy, just like the process growing tea. And when you pour the brewed tea in the justice cup, you
can feel the happiness like harvesting.

The Herd / 茗嘉．牧

以平原上的牧群為意象，茶杯恣意放置在
茶承上就像是牧群在平原上覓食。當茶杯
倒置時底部的綠色露出像是一叢叢綠意盎
然的茶樹。
The teacups represent the herd on the plain.
When the cups are put on the tea tray, you can
almost see the scenery of Chianan Plain.
The Mountain / 茗嘉．山
tea pot 100 X 100 X 120 mm
以嘉義代表山脈阿里山為意象，茶蓋的藍
色為變色油墨，泡茶時熱水淋在茶壺上，
藍色的油墨會如日出般變成橘黃色。
The teapot represents Alishan. When the top
of it becomes warm, the special printing ink
will change color from blue to red just like the
sunrise.

Concept"Massageep" 是一台按摩吉普車，小孩子可
以拿著它在父母親的身上玩，同時卻又達
到按摩的效果，不僅滿足了孩子的玩興，
更消除了父母的疲勞，增進親子家人間的
互動。
"Massageep" is a toy car with massage function.
Children can run it on parents' body and
massage them at the same time. It's not only
satisfied kids' fun but also release parents from
tiredness, and furthermore increase the family
interaction.
Observation 孩子總喜歡拿著小汽車在各種地方奔馳，
桌上、床上、牆上，或是爸爸的背上。我
希望能將這種使用經驗轉化為實際的設計
概念，因此誕生了 Massageep。
Kids love runing the toy cars on tables, beds,
walls, everywhere! I hope to turn the experience
into a pratical concept, so Massageep came to
me !

Concept最初的構想，是希望利用隨手可得的材料
以及簡單的製作方法，產生意想不到的結
果。而棉花棒啟發了我設計靈感，一根棉
花棒可以掏耳朵，而一堆棉花棒可以撐起
一杯水。群聚的棉花棒有著神似海葵的外
觀，且做為杯墊，棉花棒得以發揮吸水的
功能性，而不僅只有裝飾。
The initial idea is making use of the materials
in hand and simple methods to bring out
unexpected result. The cotton swabs inspired
me. A cotton swab may be tender; a lot of cotton
swabs could be strong. This design makes
people associate it with sea anemones, and
bring the hydrophile character of cotton swabs
into full play.

Observation 一提到保險箱，人們便會想到那是一個存
放貴重物品和鈔票的東西，而且常會和一
種可以轉動的鎖連結在一起，因此對於一
個線上銀行的密碼鎖來說我們認為這是很
好的靈感來原。
The safe, prople deposit money into it than lock
it up by a turning lock. This movement is quite
match with the purpose of the online banking
security device. Therefore, we considered that
the device which is with a shape like a safe-lock
could be a specific concept for us
Initial Idea我們最初的構想是希望這個線上銀行的密
碼鎖能夠盡可能的小，並能夠清楚的顯示
資訊，介面越簡單越好。除此之外有趣的
使用方式也是我們的重點之一。
There care few points we care about. 1. The
size of device must be as small as possible. 2.
Displaying information clear. 3. Button of device
must be less. Besides, the interest is also
important.

Concept"Lock" 是一個線上銀行的密碼鎖，用來做為通行線上銀行的金鑰。外觀設計使用的是保
險箱鎖的意象，另外加了吸盤的設計使之可以吸附在電腦上，使用者在使用時就如同在
轉動鎖頭開保險箱一般。
"Lock" is a online banking device to acess to the online bank, and it looks just like a safe lock. We
add a suction to it, so it can suck on the notebook. When users use it, the process is like open a
safe.
Functions1. 轉盤 Turning button / 選擇 Select
2. OK / 確認 Confirm
3. C / 取消 Cancel

Concept"Share!" 以強化爆米花的分享性為基礎，
針對傳統的包裝做改良。傳統包裝在食用
上有不便之處且不利多人同時拿取。改良
後的 Sharing POP 維持原本的大小，但增
加了多餘的空間。使用者可以輕鬆拆開旁
邊的包裝，讓包裝打開如花盛開般，和朋
友家人一同快樂的享用。
"Share!" is based on enhancing the sharing of
popcorn, and improves the traditional package.
It is inconvenient that several people eat and
take popcorn at the same time with the original
popcorn box. Users can open it as a blooming
flower easily. So that sharing popcorn with
people becomes much easier.
