SE)TION 1- #ENERAL

A$ticle 1" DefinitionTae7on6Do competition is the course for comparing the techni/ues as taught #+Tae7on6Do founder8 encouraged #+0TF8 #e the+ Continental8 egional and "ational Federations.

A$ticle " Modifications and Changes4.1 Those 7ho 7ish to modif+ or change an+ part of the Tournament ules should for7ard their

7ritten proposals of modification or changes of therele-ant Tournament ules to the 0TF9( at least ! months #efore the 0TF Congress.

4.2 0TF ?ecuti-e Committee 7ill stud+ the proposed modifications or changes. 0f the+ find

them to #e reasona#le8 the+ 7ill propose them to the 0TF Congress for appro-al.

4.3 ntil an+ modification or changes of the Tournament ules has #een decided8 all Compe6

titions shall #e conducted according to the original 0TF Tournament ules.

SE)TION 2" TOURNAMENT OR#ANI?IN# )OMMITTEE *T"O")+

A$ticle 5" Tournament rgani=ing Committee should #e formed in the Champion6ship6hosting countr+ at least 12 months #efore the Championship.

A$ticle 4" The T..C. shall #e formed 7ith the necessar+ num#ers of officials inconformit+ 7ith the actual situation of the hosting countr+.

A$ticle " Authorit+ and Duties of T..C.

$.1 The T..C. shall send their draft in-itation and information for the Championship to the

0TF 9( for its appro-al at least 12 months #efore the Championship and distri#ute to all 0TF

$.! The T..C. shall #ring together to6 date tournament results and dra7 up the competition

ta#les for thene?t da+ to distri#ute to each participating team #efore the Competition starts

$.$ The T..C. shall pro-ide 3 figured num#er patches @2'15 cmB to allparticipants.$.% fficial doctors or medical officers must #e in attendance throughout Competitions.

$.& The T..C. must ensure the securit+ of all participants.

$.1' The T..C. shall #e responsi#le for the #oard and accommodation of the 0TF *0Ps andmpires during the Championship.

$.11 The T..C. shall consultall issues arising from the Championship 7ith the 0TF Tournament

and mpire Committees.

$.12 The T..C. 7ill #eresponsi#le to the 0TF for the organi=ation and the conduct of the

Championship to7ard the 0TF.

Tournament and mpire Committees in the running of the Competition.

competition.

1%.1.1 Compulsor+ safet+ and proteci-e e/uipment1%.1.1.1 The competitor must7ear the 0TF appro-ed hand and foot protectors.

1%.1.1.2 The competitormust 7ear a mouth guard.

1%.1.1.3 The male competitor must 7ear a groin guard inside his do#o trousers.

materials of an+ ind that ma+ pro-ide an ad-antage to the 7earer and>or a disad-antage to

the 7earers opponent. The in:ured competitor must #e certified #+ the official Tournament

Medical fficer to 7ear an+ of such material for his>her in:ur+.1%.4 0n the sparring competition8 the competitor from the red corner must 7ear red hands and feet

5%.4.5 hen a team has one mem#er short at the time of competition then the

opposing team 7ill automaticall+ #e a7arded t7o points. hen a team has

t7o mem#ers short8 then the opposing team 7ill automaticall+ #e a7arded 4points.

A$ticle 5;" 0n:ur+5&.1 hen a competitor is in:ured during competition8 the Centre eferee must stop the match

and call the Doctor. After the in:ured competitor is treated8 the Doctor must recommend to

the Centre efereeas to 7hether that competitor could continue to compete. The Doctorsdecision is final.

5&.2 Deciding the 7inner 7hen the match cannot continue due to in:ur+

5&.2.1 hen it is decided that the opponent is at fault for causing the in:ur+8 then thein:ured competitor 7ill #e declared the 7inner.
