A Very Special Event

In support of a young boy named Jack We would love for you to join us for a fantastic evening of music to raise money for this worthy cause. We have prepared a hot line up of artists, including Tim Hoare, Tony Drake, Natalie Grever, Jacket Rabbit Acapella Group and of course, Harry Curtis, a past parent at WPPS. Jack's Story At the age of 6 weeks, Jack started experiencing uncontrollable and consistent seizures. It took nearly 2 years and numerous tests for Jack to be diagnosed with an extremely rare neuro-degenerative condition known as PEHO Syndrome. So rare, in fact, that there are not many diagnosed cases in South Africa or even the world. This syndrome is characterised by lack of muscle control (Jack will sadly never move or walk); seizures and spasms, loss of vision (Jack is now blind), oedema, brain degeneration and sadly a limited life expectancy. So far Jack has defied all odds and turned 5 years old in October 2013. Caring for Jack is extremely expensive and stressful and both parents are constantly kept awake at night whilst holding down busy jobs and looking after their 2 other children, Ella and Luke. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible to help shift the heavy financial burden bestowed on Jacks family. With love Jack's Friends
