This whole house remodeling is a project completed over 20 years. Every room of the house has been remodeled. Starting at 740 sf in 1976, the 1st addition added a 120 sf walk-in closet. The 2nd addition of 140 sf created a new living arrangement by swapping the locations of the living room and the kitchen and doubling the usable space. The interior improvements include 440 feet of custom book shelving and a 90 gallon saltwater fish tank. Both the front and back yards have been landscaped to create inviting courtyard environments. The homeowners wanted to stay but also wanted more room so a 14’ x 18’ addition to the rear of the home was built that included a fireplace and hardwood floors. Next the kitchen was expanded by removing a wall and then it was remodeled with new cabinets, appliances and granite countertops. A new pantry was created to complete the kitchen transformation. Last, but not least, a remodel of a ½ bath helped give the room they wanted without having to move.

Contributing to an updated exterior to match the look and feel of the interior, The Site Group installed a 15’ long waterwall that provides pleasing white noise for both the patio and sunroom. A polished stainless steel sculpture and handrail by Patrick Dalton complete the update and provide focal elements. After seeing the floor plan and the potential, the homeowner knew this was to be an award-winning remodeled home. Enter Remodeling Designs, Inc. The old kitchen was closed off and separated from the family room and a wall between the kitchen and family room was taken out to open up space. A master bedroom suite was created by merging one small office, a bedroom, closet and bathroom. A complete renovation of another half bathroom in the house turned it into a full bath. This addition is every homeowners dream working space. The home owner wanted a quiet place to work and to put all of their tools. We were called with this request and were happy to accommodate their needs. Drawings were done to show the homeowner exactly what they would be getting. Then we laid the foundation, and began framing in the walls. A roof was put on and the walls were painted. A ceiling fan was installed for those hot summer days, and lights accent the ceiling. Due to the size of this addition heating and cooling were added on a separate unit so that the homeowner could work in comfort all year long. Once completed the homeowner had the work space that they had envisioned all along!
