Babcock Graduate School of Management

 Candidates for and holders of master’s and doctoral degrees wear hoods over their robes. The hood symbolizes a heavy burden. The hood identifies the level of the degree, the field of learning and the institution that awards it. The color of the trim declares the major field of learning; tan represents business. The colors that line the hood identify the university awarding the degree; Wake Forest University colors are old gold and black.

  The Babcock School faculty established this award to honor Mr. White, who was a member of the faculty from 1972 until he retired in 1982. The award is given annually to members of the student team judged to have produced the most outstanding Management Consulting Practicum project in the full‐time program that year.  This year’s recipients are:
