Foundation Module ready for ODP Step 5.The review period will start on 2006-03-17 and

will end on 2006-04-30. It will be available at www.untmg.org next week.

BPWG: BCSSBCSS v1.0 draft specification is released to ODP Step 4

and will be available at www.untmg.org next week. Includes UML profile but NOT:

Context (pending Context Methodology Project) XMI profile (leverage OMG interoperability compliance work)

Early planning for BCSS 2.0 UML 2.0 profile CCTS 3.0 compliance

Will carefully consider project/spec scope and name for the next version

BPWG: BPSSThe next version of OASIS’s BPSS standard, v2.0.3, will

be submitted to ISO TC 154 for approval as ISO/DTS 15000-6. The TMG will recommend to the CEFACT Plenary (meeting in May) that this action be supported by CEFACT.

UN/CEFACT and OASIS will announce that BPSS 3.0 will be a joint effort.

TMG and OASIS ebBP TC still need to work out details regarding how/where the work will be done.

The v3.0 project will take in all current TMG comments and work to better align BPSS with the UMM.

CCTS: Context Methodology IIProject Steps

Review and evaluate current UN/CEFACT standards that are related to and potentially impacted by the context methodology;

Develop a context framework meta-model and a context methodology for the implementation of the meta-model;

For each area (category) of the context meta-model, develop a taxonomy that can be used to populate the eventual context driver value instance. Existing taxonomies shall be used.

Collaborate with TBG in developing business process related context model and examples;

Collaborate with ICG in registry meta-model and implementation; Develop first complete draft for review.


Architectural Workgroup

Architectural WG has re-started the Architectural Process A collaborative work with all groups Chair Anders W. Tell

The Architecture will support the UN/CEFACT Electronic Business vision & mission and implement the UN/CEFACT Electronic Business Strategy

Intends to show how all required methodologies and technologies fits together (CCTS, UMM, BCSS, NDR, UN/EDIFACT, UNeDocs, ebXML, Web Services...)
