Everyday Practice & Challenge
… rich and repetitive actions we do, over time and often together,
which engage our senses and imagination, reminding us of God’s presence and aiming us at His Kingdom
Trampling the Fumi-e
If we say that we have not sinned,
we are fooling ourselves, and the truth isn’t
in our hearts.1 John 1:8
What is my personal fumi-e?
Share a time you stepped on what you loved,
in order to survive.

If we say that we have not sinned, we are fooling ourselves,
and the truth isn’t in our hearts.
But if we confess our sins to God, he can always be trusted to
forgive us and take our sins away.1 John 1:8-9

With followers of Christ from every culture and age, we declare:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended into hell. …
Apostle’s Creed
On the third day He arose again;He ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father;and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit;the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
