New Features in Vembu Office 365 & G Suite Backup 2.0
While the previous release allowed the OneDrive data of Tenant admin to be protected,Vembu SaaSBackup 2.0 provides backup and recovery support of OneDrive files for all users of Office 365.
Vembu Office 365 & G Suite Backup 2.0 Beta - Release Notes
Vembu SaaSBackup 2.0 Beta is now available for SMBs who use Office 365 and G Suite in their daily work environment. Start exploring the new features of this release and get started with protecting your mail servers with domain and user level backups.
Warning: Vembu SaaSBackup 2.0 is a Beta release and might experience stability and performance issues. Hence, we recommend using it in a test environment.
OneDrive support for all users
Users can now have their modified files from Google Drive and OneDrive be stored as multiple copies of backup data and restore it later based on the date/time of the backup. Users also have the option to define how many modified copies of files to be retained for each configured backup job.
Retain Copies of your files
For users handling sensitive-work data, Vembu SaaSBackup 2.0 is now available as an On-Premise deployment setup. You can install Vembu SaaSBackup in your on-premise server and get started with Office 365 and G Suite backup. Users opted for On-Premise deployment can register their servers with Vembu Portal before or after the trial period ends.

Known Issues and Limitations

General
● Running license check under the License Management page will not work
● Newly configuring backup jobs should have ‘run immediately’ option checked to initialize backup
● Restoring items from more than one page is not possible
● Search option will work only for the current working page during the restore
● Add Account for on-premise servers cannot be done from a remote machine
● Mail restore fails if the mail attachment size exceeds 4MB
● Viewing image attachments in emails during restore is not possible
● Network volumes cannot be used as a storage location
Office 365
● Modified Calendar events are not backed up
● Modified Contacts are not backed up
● Calendar events will restore only to the source account
● After upgrade, download and recovery of OneDrive files will not work for older recovery points backed up in v1.5
● After upgrade, OneDrive files will not be listed if it contains only full backup without incremental for backups configured in v1.5
G Suite
● SaaSBackup crashes while trying to backup Google Drive file exceeding 5GB
● Restoring more than one contact at a time from G Suite contacts is not possible
● Contact name will not be displayed while restoring from G Suite contacts
● After upgrade, Drive files will not be listed in the restore page for backups configured in v1.5
● After upgrade, recovery of Drive files to the user account will not work for domain backed up in v1.5
● After upgrade, mails are not uploaded to s3 for domain backed up in v1.5

● Automated Incremental Scheduling - As per incremental scheduling configuration, the backup of Office 365 and Google Apps will be automatically triggered daily.
● Secured Backup - We are using AES 256-bit algorithm to encrypt the backup data during data transfer over WAN and also at rest.
● Single Click Document Download - If you want to instantly restore the backed up Google Drive or OneDrive documents, you can use the download option available in the SaaSBackup portal. It will download the document without restoring it to the original user accounts.
● Mail level restores - The mail level restore helps you to restore your deleted or old employee’s email to the same or any other user accounts.
● Mail View - Vembu SaaSBackup provides the option to view your backed up emails from the SaaSBackup portal. So you don’t need to restore the mail, just click the mail to view the mail content.
● Agentless Backup - Since Vembu SaaSBackup uses authorized APIs to backup Google Apps and Office 365 accounts, agent installation is not required to back up these accounts.
