Dear Parish Family, I write this letter to invite you join me in support of the 2020 Diocesan Services Appeal – “Happy the one who trusts in the Lord!” This scripture text from the Book of Proverbs affirms a fundamental teaching of the Catholic Church – only in God will we find the truth and happi-ness that we seek, the happiness that we were made for. Our annual DSA is an opportunity to participate person-ally in the service and care provided through the many good works of the Catholic Church. Our contributions are put to work, right away, in a multitude of ministries to offer direct assistance to individuals and families and to parishes, Catholic schools, and Catholic Charities agen-cies. Vitally important is the impact these efforts have in our parishes, where so much of the Church’s work occurs in the activities of everyday life. Please prayerfully consider making a DSA contribution this year. The special DSA edition of FAITH magazine and a DSA video message from Bishop Boyea are availa-ble online at www.dioceseoflansing.org/dsa. You may also use this link to make a DSA gift via credit card or electronic funds transfer from a bank account. Pledge forms will also be provided at liturgies on DSA Commit-ment Weekend, March 7 & 8. Our DSA parish goal for 2020 is $18,559.00 and with your help, I am confident we can reach that goal. Once we reach our goal, 50% of any contributions received, over and above our parish goal, will be returned to our local parish. Thank you for your generosity. Be assured of my prayers for you and your loved ones.
Prayerfully yours, Msgr. George Michalek

Cost is: $10.
