INTERSELIGER is an international project aimed at uniting the world leaders - 1 000 exceptional indi-viduals fromdifferent spheres and backgrounds from over then 100 countries all over the world. This conference powered by federal agency of youth affairs ROS-MOLODEZH is making for youth and by youth. Our team is 9 bright individuals who working every day to make our vision come true - “Dare to shape the World you dream of”.

INTERSELIGER offers you a place where one makes lifelong friends and builds strong networks among today's and future gamechangers of the world.We don’t want to just talk and state youth's opinion in different issues on that forum. Our goal is to learn together how to play as a large global worldwide team aimed to create world with no wars, world with developing economy, to build education correctly and to find wise and innovational solutions. The current situation around the world proves that those goals cannot be achieved single handedly.

So we can only make them true working as a team, when we know and trust each other. There is no time to come up with new ideas anymore. Now it is time to realize them.

Russia is the largest country in the world, with 145 million people who practice over seven religions, who speak over 200 languages, who come from over one hundred nationalities. We are the only country in the world that bridges Europe and Asia. We can actually choose to be Asians or Europeans, as the saying goes. Diversity is in our veins.Furthermore, we are living in a time in which Russia is opening its gates to the world. Olympic Games was held in Sochi this year and we are going to host two more global events in the next few years, namely the World Soccer Championship and the World Hockey Championship. And our flourishing economy is also opening its opportunities to the ones that want to grab them. We welcome you, dear young leaders from all the world, to international youth forum INTERSELIGER 2014.

For centuries the world has wondered what to believe about Russia. The country has been reported variously as a land of unbelievable riches and indescribable poverty, cruel tyrants and great minds, generous hospitality and meddlesome bureaucracy, beautiful ballets and industrial mon-strosities, pious faith and unbridled hedonism. These eternal Russian truths coexist in equally diverse landscapes of icy tundra and sun-kissed beaches, dense silver birch and fir forests and deep and mysterious lakes, snow-capped moun-tains and swaying grass- lands – those famous steppes. Factor in ancient fortresses, luxurious palaces, swirly spired churches and lost-in-time wooden villages and you’ll begin to see why Russia is simply amazing.

Russia is the country of vast landscapes, vibrant life, beautiful contrasts, and interesting people. Taking an immense space of 9000 kilometers from west to east and 5000 from north to south, being home to people of so many different nationalities and traditions, Russia is often called a “bridge” between Europe and Asia, both and culturally and geo- graphically. Since the ancient times Russia has been transforming and re-shaping itself, its boundaries, its culture. In the ancient times, the Slavs, Finn tribes, Tatars, had made their way through Russia, and this mix of many different nations and their traditions has defined the unique Russian character and culture.

Russia is the largest country in the world. Ural mountains divide the Eurasian continent - and Russia - into Europe and Asia.

One fourth of the Russian territory lies in Europe, the other part lies in Asia. Russia’s taking the area of 17.1 million square kilometers - it’s like USA and Europe combined. Even though Russia is consid-ered to be a mix of Europe and Asia, this assump-tion is only based on geography.

The reality is that culturally Russia has always been oriented towards the West and the recent influx of western lifestyle has created subcultures similar to those found in any other major country. At the same time, there is also something peculiar about the country and the people, even a little bit “Asian”, which you can’t really pinpoint. Perhaps, one could say that consciously the country is Euro-pean, but subconsciously it’s Asian.

INTERSELIGER


INTERSELIGER is an international educational camp in the middle of the Russian woods in Tver Region, where thousands of responsible, entrepre-neurial and daring young leaders from all over the world get together to meet high-profile speakers, generate synergies and gain new experiences by participating in educational, recreational and social activities in a natural setting of the Seliger lake system.

According to the globalsummerschools.com International youth Forum Seliger is one of the 10 most awesome student international conferences around the world, together with World Business Dialogue 2013, Harvard Project for Asian & Inter-national Relations, South American Business Forum and 5 others.


Since 2005 Youth Forum Seliger has been a plat-form for active and involved youth from all over Russia.

In 2010 the Forum has become international giving warm welcome to young leaders from other coun-tries. The idea of a unique educational eco-camp in Russian woods has been instantly spread in the Internet and worldwide social networks and attracted attention of hundreds of students from all over the world. More than 750 people (out of 1500 – the total number of participants in 2010) from over 80 countries have attended the First Interna-tional Youth Forum Seliger in 2010.

In 2011 the Forum has undergone sufficient changes. It was decided to involve world known experts and teacher to give lectures and master classes. The 2011 appealing educational program enabled to get a much greater number of candi-dates than expected: the statistics showed 4,5 people per place.

INTERSELIGER – It is not only name. It’s a lifestyle. Participants are very kind and polite to each other. We will prevent any angry behavior. INTERSELIGER will teach you, how to work in small groups to make maximum efficiency from every person in the team. Also, everyone of you can change the world! So we will do it together, as all of us want to live in peace and safety. We are YOUTH, and the whole world is open for us – for our ideas, our wishes. Together – we are the power!

INTERSELIGER 2014 is 6 days educational environ-ment, which is prepared by team of 80 volunteers and more then 50 speakers.

CAMP-STYLE FORUM


INTERSELIGER will held in the forest near Seliger lake in Tver region (6 hours by bus from Moscow).Near the camp is located a beautiful lake, named Seliger. You can enjoy beautiful sunrises and amaz-ing sunsets in the evening. All the participants need to be prepared for the camp-style 6-days forum including all the special facilities.

CONDITIONS:• You will live in a tent camp in the forest by groups of 20 people. All the international participants will be will be provided by sleeping bags and mats, Russian participant need to take their own. • After session you have free time - you can do any activity that you prefe - play the guitar near the fire, relax in a tent, chatting with new friends from all over the world, etc. • We organize special cultural and fun events every evening• You will be provided with meal (3 times in a day) and fresh water.

• We have a wireless internet cover all over the territory. In case you need stable access to the Inter-net its better to buy sim-card with 3G connection when you will arrive in Moscow.• A security will not let to skip a mice at the terri-tory and will provide your safety.• The camp have an electricity to charge your phones and tablets. Access to the electricity is very limited.• Sufficient number of outdoor eco-friendly toilets and shower cabins are provided. • Alcohol and any kind of drugs are under a ban.

We are approving only applicants with attached copy of international passport. So be sure your scan copy of passport is good quality.Prepare all the documents above and call to the Russian Embassy web- site if that is enough:• Passport (Must be valid at least 3 month after your Russian visa will expire and contain at least one clear page - for the visa)• Passport-size photograph (Must be recent and good quality)• Visa application form (Downloaded the latest visa application form from the Russian embassy web-site in your country, Consulate department part of web-site and fill it out• Insurance (Delegates should get it by themselves)

From 20 of June till 5th of July we will send you an e-mail with the special number of Telex, which you should say in Russian Embassy in order to apply for visa (not more 3 weeks after you get confirmation email that you are selected as INTERSELIGER partici-pants)Gather all documents required for obtaining a visa and apply for a visa in the Russian Embassy. The visa process takes 3-14 days (depends on your country). VISA for INTERSELIGER participants is free.

Get you visa in a short period of time and have a nice trip to Russia. Be sure that you send your flight details to the organizing committee before July 6th.

Firstly please check list of countries with free visa. If your citizenship in the list, you

don’t need visa and you just come to Russia.

5th of AugustFirst thing in the morning you will leave to the Peterhof Palace, com-monly known as the “Russian Versailles”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Peterhof is a series of majestic palaces and colorful gardens located near Saint Petersburg: for 200 years it served as a summer residence of the Russian monarchs. In the 18th and 19th centuries it was a setting for majestic receptions, grand festivities, balls, concerts and masquerades. Visit the Grand Palace, the Mon Plaisir Palace, walk around 150 beautiful fountains and the Upper and Lower Parks, and see the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It’s a magical place with a magi-cal atmosphere!

In the evening take overnight train to Moscow
