Channel 4 brings to you a new documentary, explor-ing why how food may be the ‘new idea of sex’. many of the products that we consume today such as the Aero chocloate, Activia and Marks and Spen-cer’s adverts. We’re here to give you the consumer infromation straight to your living room.
Through the first week we see how adverts of food have changed , supermarkets are now using celebrities to help advertise their companies such as Jamie Oliver coincid-ing with Sainsbury’s and Delia Smith for Waitrose, these ways of advertising intise customers with well known faces into shopping and buying thier products.

This season Channel 4 has been looking at some of our favourite chefs from Gordon Ramsay’s USA Kitchen Nightmares and How to cook with Heston Blumenthal, well now its food with a twist as we take you on a three week journey of consumerism.
In the second episode we will be looking at Ideologies within food and advertising. To the end the season with a bang , we’re talkign money and Capitalism. We are going to explore how such establisments like Mc Don-ald’s support the olympics and what is their ultimate motive?
