Jack receives third call from Edwin, a regular caller to his show. who c to jack about a women he met at a yuppie Bar that .evening, Jack reminds Edwin of his past failur incites him to stop the Yuppies. Edwin Agrees. Jack signs off and reveals his arrogance with his thought lnciting lncident 2. Jack and Agent in Limo, talking about offer for Sitcom, Bum knocks on window, Jack refusing to op n the widows. Jack and superficial girlfriend in plush apartment, jacks selfish attitude revealed, as he pract ce his lines line "Forgive me," Confident in his mastery of this line Notices his picture on the TVs. With a s ile on his face turns up the volume to his voice talking. A reporter reveals the violence Edwin inflicted upon t e bar he had visited earlier, and indirectly accuses Jack for inciting the murderous rampage. Jack's smile begi s to fade asthe details of the murders are reported. Jack, with a shocked look on his face, slowly sits down... and to face, mutters "FUCK"Tone/Style 3. 3 years Later, Jack is drunk, reading a News Pape,.The polished, arrogant look of Jack Lucas,Radio Personality, gone. Jacksis is depressed, drinks too much, and hates people. Anne, Jack's Girlfriend and owner of the sore enters thand coaxes Jackto do some work ...Jackgets up, and staggers drunkenly out the door. 4. Jack and his girlfriend, Anne, are watching the TV show he was auditioning for, and is resentful, a argu ent between them occurs. She accuses him of thinking too much. He accuses her of the opposite. 5. INT Anne's Apartment Above Video Store - Night, Raining. Anne and Jack are watching TV, laugher ech es from set, in sync with Anne's Laughter, and out of sync with Jack's angry face. Jack angry and drunk verb lIy belittles Anne, ends with Anne upset and storming off to her room ...Much more louder, The farneus line "Forgive me" taunts Jack, and in a drunken anger, gets up and throws the remote at the TV, missin~ it. Turning Point . I 6. Jack is drunk out in the streets of New York City at night. He decides to drown himself. is attacked by a couple of street punks but gets saved by a strange homeless man, Parry who later introduces him to the local burn community. Jack wakes up at Parry's Abode, basement of apartment building -. Parry, greets Jack as \e opens his eyes, hung-over .. Parry's begins to talks to imaginary people. Parry tells Jack that he is the one a help him on his special quest to get the "holy grail," Jack tells him he is not the one, Parry tells Jack that is quest is to get the Holy Grail that is housed at a millionaire's apartment on the 5th avenue. But he nee s Jack's help... 7. Hallway of Apartment building after exit of basement ...Jack Is confronted by Super of the building. Jaok finds out Parry's situation and the event that caused Parry trip into insanity, is identity., Jack come's to fe~1 resp~n.siblefor Parry's condition. Dramatic Situation Set up. . .\ 8. Jacksitting down facing toward camera, Anne standing behind him, scolding him, Jack reveals the events of hiS drunken night, Anne's insecurity and need for love is revealed, After learning about Parry's ruined life fro~ his landlord, Jacktells Anne that" he wishes there was a way he could 'just pay the fine and go home'. Goal Oi\ Main Character Act Break 25% (34:15) ACT II: The development (50%) 9. Jack tries to give Parry money but he gives it away. He finds him following Lydia, a young and clumsy publishing company worker, tParry is in love 10. Jack and Parry are in front of the 5th Ave house. Jack tells Henry that there's no Holy Grail and no magic. Parry has a vision of a 'red knight' on a horse who is 'afraid of Jack'. Parry chases him. Jack and Parry help an injured homeless guy and take him to the hospital.

12. Jack is trying to convince Parry to pursue Lydia. Jack decides to help Parry to get Lyd' and calls her trying toconvince her that she won a free membership at his store to get her to come in. Mi~Oint Shift

13. Jack sends a homeless singer guy to visit Lydia at work to convince her to come to t evideo store. They bringParry to the store and dress him up like he works there. Parry and lydia meet and t Ik for the first time.

14. lydia comes to Jack and Anne's house to get her nails done. They both get tipsy. Jack and Parry organizea dinner for four of them at the Chinese restaurant. Parry and lydia are a goodr=: After a walk hometogether Parry confesses to Lydia that he's in love with her for a long time. She kisses him back.

15. Parry remembers his wife murder and after having another vision of the red knig It and gets beaten up by thestreet hustlers. Jack tells Anne they need to take a break in the relationship. Jack and Anne get a call from thehospital. They visit Parry there and find out he is in the coma. Act Break

ACT 11/: THE RESOLUTION (25%)

16. Jack is back to the radio and his old life style. He ignores his old homeless fr}end who once helped him. He'sbeing offered a role in a TV show about homeless people. He leaves without! explanation Turning Point.

17. Jack visits Parry's apartment and takes his Holy Grail book. Jack visits parry/at the hospital, has a breakdownand tells him that he will get the Holy Grail. I

18. Jack breaks 'into the 5th ave mansion and steals the Holy Grail. Jack returns to Parry in the hospital and bringshim the Holy Grail !

19. Parry wakes up, with some sore of closure, is able to not feel guilty about loving another women, andmissing and letting go of his wife ...

20. Lydia comes to the hospital and finds Parry well and happy. They kiss and cry. .21. Jackvisits Anne to tell her he loves her. She slaps, kisses, and embraces22. ack and Parry are naked under the stars in Central Park 'cloud busting' Jack is a .changed man, he

can know see what Parry sees...
