DR. WILLIAM C. THOMAS
Dr William Thomas is Designing Leaders’ Chief Teaching Officer, responsible for developing and presenting workshops across Asia. Dr Thomas has over two decades of leadership experience in complex environments, and 8+ years of teaching at major universities. He holds a PhD in public policy (focusing on organizational culture) as well as an MBA and a degree in economics.
He began his US Air Force career as a nuclear officer, then became a strategic planner for peacekeeping and humanitarian missions and an international affairs specialist focused on relationships with Southeast Asian countries. He spent 7 years as a professor at the US Air Force Academy, teaching strategic studies and political science, and he helped create new government institutions in Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2010 he retired from the Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel after a 21-year career.
For three years, from 2012 through the end of 2014, he worked with CEB Corporate Leadership Council, advising Chief HR Officers at over 50 large private- and public-sector organizations in a dozen markets across Asia.

Cliff Chalon is the Managing Director of Chalon Performance Consulting, an international consulting and training firm based in Perth, Western Australia.
