Dear Colleagues;

The 19th Annual International Congress of the Egyptian Society of Endocrinology and

Obesity is currently gaining popularity and is a good chance for the Endocrinologists to

meet each other and discuss Endocrine and Diabetes problems in Egypt, the Middle East

and Africa with eminent international figures in the field of Endocrinology and Diabetes

who will be attending the congress.

The 19th Annual International Congress of the Egyptian Society of Endocrinology and

Obesity, this time will be held in Bibliotheca of Alexandria, Alexandria, Egypt.

In our 19th meeting we are looking forward to see as many Arab and International Endocrinologists in the Pearl of the

Mediterranean “Alexandria” where we are so pleased to welcome you with a warm weather, friendship hospitality,

unique scientific activities, attractive touristic program and a lot of social events.

We are doing all our efforts to serve the preeminent educational venue showcasing the latest innovations and

technological breakouts in all fields of Endocrinology and Obesity.

It is great honor to receive you in the meeting as guests, participants and attendants in Alexandria, Egypt's second

capital and one of the Mediterranean major ports.

Kittie Wyne, MD, PhD, FACE, FNLA is an endocrinologist specializing in the

management of diabetes, lipids and hypertension. She has recently moved to The Ohio

State University where she is the Director of the OSU Adult Type 1 Diabetes Program. Dr.

Wyne earned her medical degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of

Chicago. After serving a residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine,

Houston, Texas, she completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism

at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Dr. Wyne is board

certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and in Clinical Lipidology. She is a

Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and of the National Lipid Association.

Professor of Medicine at the University of Birmingham and Birmingham Heartlands

Hospital. He was Director of the Diabetes Complications Clinic and Associate Director for

the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Center for Diabetes Excellence, fellow of the

The Regional Medical Director and Head of Mercy Health Weight Management Solutions

in Cincinnati, Ohio. his practice is focused on Bariatric surgeries as well foregut surgery.

Venue & Housing The conference is held in Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Conference Center (BACC) is a state-of-the-art meeting and

exhibition facility and is an integral part of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina complex. It is

located on the waterfront across from the Eastern Harbor and Silsilah Peninsula. The

Conference Center and the main Library are connected underground below the Plaza of

Civilization.

Language

The official language is English

All lectures and presentations will be held in the English language only. There will be no

translation available

Weather Throughout Egypt, days are commonly warm or hot, Egypt has only two seasons: a mild winter from November to May, and a hot

summer from June to October. The only differences between the seasons are variations in daytime temperatures and changes in prevailing

winds. In the coastal regions, temperatures range between an average minimum of 14°C and an average maximum of 30°C in summer

A large exhibition area gathering the largest pharmaceutical,

medical companies interested in the field of Dermatology

will be held during the 3 days of the conference. We expect

to have an attendance of about 600 expert doctors from all

medical specialties.

Individual Credit hours for attending the conference (According to Barcode System).Credit hours for the different

ratio of scientific attendance.

The Accreditation Review Committee (ARC) of the American Association of Continuing Medical

Education (AACME) designates this medical education activity for a maximum of 20.25 hours in

the Category 1 credit of the AACME Designation.
