1965

Alejandro Rosales founds the company MADETRES in Vic, near to Barcelona, and the modular kitchen is born in Spain.

1960

1975

ALVIC is founded in 1975, in Alcaudete, for the manufacture of components for furniture and decoration.

First factory in Spain and south of Europe to produce furniture components.

1970

1980

MKIT is then born, a Spanish market channel of specialized stores for professional sector to purchase components for kitchens, bathrooms and wardrobes. (Currently, there are 30 ALVIC CENTER).

1986

The VIFORMING panel is launched on the market as an innovative and highly competitive product with an extremely effi cient manufacturing process.

1980

1994

ALVIC develops a new range of kitchen furniture for the DIY channel, thus consolidating its market positioning.

1997

MASCO Corporation acquires ALVIC GROUP, contributing to the Group’s expansion in the European market.

1998

ALVIC is included in the ranking of the 500 most innovative companies.

1992

OFITRES is founded in Vic, near to Barcelona, for the manufacture of fl at-pack kitchen furniture for the DIY channel.

Manufacture of offi ce furniture.1993

EUROFORMING is launched, thanks to ALVIC’s great capacity for innovation.

1990

2002

TRANSFORMADOS DE LA MADERA FARO S.L. is founded as a manufacturer of fl at-pack kitchen and bathroom furniture for the DIY channel.

2004

MASCO Corporation sells ALVIC GROUP, TO Rosales family, the founder of the group.

2008

ALVIC begins industrial development of the LUXE® panel.

2010

The LUXE® panel is patented and launched on the market.

The business model is changed. The traditional warehouse is adapted as a MKIT service point for ALVIC Center.

2000

2012

The range of SYNCRON® panels is launched. Opening of new markets in Asia.

2013

Presentation of FARO kitchen and bathroom collections.

2014

Launch of ZENIT® and LUXE digital® panels.

2015

Development of the FINGER-PULL® range as an application for LUXE® and SYNCRON® panels. Market launch of the LUMEX® panel.

2016

Development of SYNCRON® Register. ‘Alas Award for the international trajectory’.

2017

Opening of ALVIC distribution in Las Vegas.

2018

Launch of Luxe Plus.

ALVIC GROUP is awarded as the best sector company for contract channel products.

Internalization of the ALVIC Center model in France with an opening in Toulouse.

Adaptation of ALVIC Centers to the new ALVIC Service Point model for kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobe, panelling and projects.

2019

Opening of ALVIC USA LLC.

Extension of the ALVIC plant in Alcaudete to 16,000 sqm.

Just-in-time Logistics and door manufacturing. Launch of the new ALVIC collection, and the updating of ranges. New Faro kitchens and bathrooms catalogue.

2011

New distributors in USA, Canada and Australia begin to consolidate international market positionings.

2010

2020

New factory based in Alcaudete (Spain) to produce and supply on Just-In-Time requests 1.500.000 fi nished doors.
