How To Stay Young
Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. Keep learning; Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever.
Never let the brain get idle. Enjoy the simple things.
Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots of time with him or her.
The tears happen: endure, grieve and move on. The only person who is with us our entire lives is ourselves. Live while you are alive.
Surround yourself with what you love; whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants or hobbies. Your home is refuge.
Cherish your health; If it is good preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
Tell the people you love that you love them at every opportunity. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.
Lost time may never be found!
Dear Parents
We are in the final week of a long and busy term. The children (and teachers) are in need of
“recharging their batteries” for the home stretch of the year.
I would like to encourage parents to please support the P&F Movie Day during the holidays. This day
is being held to raise funds for our P & F.
Taking stock of this term I have looked at the great activities that the children have been part of. The
Canberra Trip, NAIDOC Day and of course the wonderful Bush Dance. We must congratulate the
students and staff for all their hard work and effort placed into all activities at the school.
The students and teachers have done us proud!
Quote of the Week
Ability can take you to the top but it
takes character to keep your there.
God Bless,
Brett Pollard Principal

Yesterday, 18th Sept, the Yr
6/7 students went to the
Canberra Deep Space
Communication Complex. We
learnt about the various Mars
Rovers that are currently
there and were told some
amazing facts about our
system.
The children have decided to
start saving for a rover of
their own, which shouldn't take
too long at a bargain price of
2.5 billion dollars.
