Dear Parish Family, WELCOME BACK! I sincerely welcome back all of our parishioners and friends who are physically with us today and to all those joining us virtually during this green restricted phase. If there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email. Please be assured of my love and prayers for each of you!

REQUESTING NEW ADORERS: Saint Mary Parish is requesting NEW ADORERS of the Blessed Sacrament. Would you like to spend ONE HOUR per week to adore Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament in our Divine Mercy Perpetual Adoration Chapel?

Please contact MaryKatherine Bushey at [email protected] or 610-476-4490. We certainly would like to begin Perpetual Adoration once again. Our world needs Jesus!

PERPETUAL ADORATION: We are planning to begin Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament soon. We would like to resume Adoration with scheduled adorers ONLY. I am kindly requesting all SCHEDULED ADORERS to please contact MaryKatherine Bushey as soon as possible and inform her whether you are able to take your

scheduled hour once again. A LEGACY OF FAITH; CELEBRATING 100 YEARS: Thank you very much for your kind generosity towards our Capital Campaign. If you are able, we are requesting a few more donations to help us reach our goal of $2M. Whatever gift, small or large, is a gift to God

and His Church. It truly is a blessing! BONANZA RAFFLE: If you are able, will you kindly take a chance and purchase and/or sell a Bonanza Raffle ticket for the parish? Each ticket costs $100. Top Prize:

$10,000.00, Second Prize: $5,000.00, Third Prize Prize: $2,500.00. There will be seller prizes for each category as well. The Raffle is TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED to be drawn on the Second Sunday of September at 6 PM at the Saint Mary Feast Celebration. Thank you very much for your participation. You can drop your ticket stub and its donation in the Sunday Collection marked: "Bonanza Raffle" or mail it to the Parish Office Center.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE PARISH: Thank you very kindly for all you do for our parish. I am humbled and grateful. Unfortunately, we are still behind in our Sunday collections due to the pandemic. I kindly ask if you can make an extra sacrificial offering to the parish to help us meet our expenses. I am always grateful for all you do for this

great community of faith. Parish Giving is a useful option and safe to use. Many parishioners are using this option for their Sunday Offering. I hope you also choose this use of Electronic Funds Transfer for your offering. Please call Sandi in the Parish Office Center and she will gladly assist you.

OAK WOOD: We have a large pile of oak wood for anyone who would like to have it for their fireplace this winter. Please call Mary Beth O'Connor, Director of Operations/Business Manager, at the Parish Office Center. A donation to the parish is requested. Thank You!

SECOND SUMMER BOOK CLUB Our second virtual summer book club will be held on Wednesday, August 19th from 7:00 to 8:30 PM via Zoom. The book is A Canticle for

Leibowitz by Walter M. Miller Jr. This speculative fiction story takes place in the depths of the Utah

desert, long after the Flame Deluge has scoured the earth clean, where a monk of the Order of Saint Leibowitz has made a miraculous discovery of holy relics from the life of the great saint himself. In a terrifying age of darkness and decay, these artifacts could be the keys to mankind's salvation. But as the mystery at the core of this groundbreaking novel unfolds, it is the search itself for meaning, for truth, and for love, that offers hope for humanity's rebirth from the ashes. Read the book on your own and then join us for a discussion. For more information contact Linda Nichols at 215-256-4941 or [email protected]. RSVP by August 18thst to received the Zoom invite.

The Parish Debt represents invoices that we owe to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. These invoices are for assessments, insurance, property and liability, etc. incurred between the years of 2005 – 2012. The Archdiocese has been very gracious to cover these invoices during a time when we could not afford to do so. By using your Parish Debt (Gold) Envelope, you are helping our parish pay the obligation we owe to the Archdiocese. From 2013 to today we are current on all our Archdiocesan invoices. Thank you for your kind generosity.
