Our RIDE Snowboards prototyping facility is 10 miles south of Seattle in Des Moines, WA. It’s under an hour drive from two winter resorts and just under four hours to Timberline, North America’s only year round lift accessed snowboarding. By having a prototype facility separate from our manufacturing, we can focus on new designs and new products without having to worry about factory lead times or production delivery deadlines. A snowboard can go from a drunken Capitol Hill idea to an on-hill test in 48 hours, allowing us to test hundreds of variables and build snowboards 11 months out of the year. This is one of the reasons why we bring you the best riding, strongest snowboards available. We are able to test multiple shapes, profiles, and constructions in weeks when it takes most brands years. When we hand off designs to our world-class manufacturing facility in Weihai, China, we go straight back to testing a new shape, model, or idea. We are constantly innovating.

SON OF MACHETE

Machete JR. is a lot like Machete, but Machete pushes Machete JR to be an incredible snowboard for younger riders. He demands excellence in the form of a Twin Rocker that allows him to ride equally as well forward and backwards while urethane Slimewalls® help keep damage to a minimum. Will Machete JR one day become a greater snowboard than his father? Probably not. He will probably end up at a state school on a marching band piccolo scholarship majoring in Fine Art just to piss Machete off. INSANITY YOU CAN HANDLE

Do insane shapes, short powder boards, and swallowtails make you nervous? If you are just looking for a traditional all-mountain board shape that can do it all, look no further than the Manic. The Directional Hybrid Rocker in the Manic is flat between the feet for solid edge hold and features more rocker in the tip than tail for more float in riding regular in the deep snow and a catch-free feel when riding switch. A mellow flex pattern makes the Manic an accessible snowboard for all ability levels, but it also features linear carbon from tip to tail for enhanced edge-to-edge response and urethane Slimewalls® to make sure this board stays chatter-free at speed. Similar to the huggability of the stuffing in the bears at MOA’s Build-a-Bear Workshop, the Intuition™ Mobile Liner in the ’92 is constructed with dual-density foam for maximum comfort. Unlike teddy bear stuffing, our dual-density foam liner is a wrap construction for additional stability and life required for the demands of freestyle performance. The Tongue Tied™ Focus System with The Closer™ lace guide is so high tech it might as well be sold next to drones and heated footbaths at MOA’s Brookstone with its ability to provide total tongue closure and next level heel hold without pressure points, all at a speed faster than a rollercoaster in the mall’s theme park. ELLIPTICAL PROGRESSIVE Designed exclusively for the Timeless, this sidecut combines tight elliptical curva-ture at the tip and tail to provide low-speed initiation and response with a larger radial section between the feet for high-speed stability and tracking.

BI-RADIAL Combining a tight radius at the tip to provide quick, effortless turn initiation, with a wide radius at the tail to support a smooth and stable turn exit, this sidecut design maximizes grip while minimizing any loss of speed.
