Caution National Instruments software may require you to update the fi rmware for this device. Do not remove power from the device until the software indicates that the fi rmware update is complete. Removing power during a fi rmware update could cause your device to become unusable.

NI 177x Series Smart Camera

Open LabVIEW. Click Find Examples and use the NI Example Finder to locate examples for the NI 177x Smart Camera.

Select cam0: NI 177x and click Snap to acquire your fi rst image. Use the tabs to confi gure additional settings.

Attach a C-mount lens. Connect the smart camera to the same network subnet as the development computer. Finally, connect the power supply.

Open MAX. Under Remote Systems, select the smart camera. Select Software, then click Add/Remove Software.

Open MAX. Under Remote Systems, select the smart camera. Select Software, then click Add/Remove Software.
