EMCP IIEMCP II+EMCP II+PSwitchgear ConversionThe Caterpillar family of control panels provides basicto complete generator set monitoring. Control panelsuse a standard mounting and wire harness and areeasily upgraded to the next higher specification. TheElectronic Modular Control Panels (EMCP II, EMCPII+, and EMCP II+P) are compatible with a completeline of local or remote annunciators, and with remote

communication and expansion modules.

PANEL DESCRIPTIONELECTROMECHANICALThis manual or auto start/stop electromechanical

panel , equipped with analog gaug es, provides basicgenerator set metering, engine monitoring and

protection, indica tor lights, and emergency stopshutdown. Optional protective and control devicesare available.

EMCP II, II+, AND II+PThe EMCP II, II+ and II+P, equipped with high-techelectronics and digital LCD readouts, provide themost complete generator set monitoring, metering,control, and indication. A full range of optional

protective dev ices, controls , and local and remoteannunciators are available. The EMCP II, II+ or II+Pmay be used for remote generator set monitoring andcontrol via a direct connection or modem. The EMCPII, II+ and II+P use environmentally sealed, solidstate, microprocessor-based modules.

SWITCHGEAR CONVERSIONThe switchgear conversion (SGC) panel provides basicengine monitoring, protection, and control. It isequipped with a digital LCD display, electronic gauges,and indicator lights. The panel is

designed to interface with switchgear or remotemounted controls. Optional protection and control
