Solution

1.General information

-See the general information from SAP Note 70228. -You cannot uninstall ABAP add-ons. -You can install ABAP add-ons only on certain SAP releases. -Upgrades with ABAP add-ons

l In systems in which an ABAP add-on is installed, you can upgrade only to SAP releases that are supported for this add-on.

l Note that there is a delay between the delivery of the SAP standard releases and the release of the corresponding add-on releases.

l If an add-on upgrade is connected with a change of the SAP release, it is integrated into the SAP upgrade (repository or system switch). To carry out this upgrade, you require an additional add-on upgrade CD or DVD in addition to the SAP standard upgrade CDs or DVDs. If the SAP standard upgrade is carried out without this additional CD or DVD, the add-on will no longer work after the upgrade. The entire SAP system is inconsistent.

l If you are scheduling an upgrade or the import of an enhancement package, note that you should not import the latest Support Package Stack in the source release directly before the upgrade to ensure that the required, equivalent Support Package is already available in the target release.

You can also perform the Installation if you have already imported more support packages into your system than are specified below. 3SRMNXP01 100

a) Installation

Please install SRMNXP01 100 together with SP01 (SAPK-10001INSRMNXP01)

When the add-on SRMNPX01 100 is deployed with Fiori components, you can install SRMNXP01 100 without the UI add-ons*. Otherwise, SRMNXP01 100 must be installed with UI add-ons.

* The following are the UI add-ons:

UI2_700 100 UI2_701 100 UI2_FND 100 UI2_SRVC 100 UISAPUI5 100 UI_INFRA 100

l Required release SRMNXP01 100 requires: Enhancement Package 1 for SAP Netweaver 7.0 and SAP SRM 7.0. Enhancement Package 2 for SAP Netweaver 7.0 and Enhancement package 1 for SAP SRM 7.0. Enhancement Package 3 for SAP Netweaver 7.0 and Enhancement Package 2 for SAP SRM 7.0. SAP Netweaver 7.4 and Enhancement Package 3 for SAP SRM 7.0

l Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update. Make sure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update on your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.

l Import the latest R3trans and tp. Ensure that you have imported the latest kernel version into your system. If a newer version is available on SAP ServiceMarketplace, import the most recent kernel.

l Obtain the following notes before you begin the installation:

The tool SAINT can be used to install SRMNXP01 100 Name of the Installation package: SAPK-100AGINSRMNXP01

If you want to install SRMNXP01 100 during an SRM Upgrade,then,when generating MOPZ xml, during the step "Choose add-on Products", you will be required to select the appropriate instance of the add-on Product version: "SRM USER INTERFACE ADD-ON 1.0", depending on the target release of SRM. Kindly follow the following instructions:

1. If the target is "SAP SRM 7.0", select the instance "NXP INT NW701" 2. If the target is "EHP1 FOR SAP SRM 7.0", select the instance "NXP INT NW702" 3. If the target is "EHP2 FOR SAP SRM 7.0", select the instance "NXP INT NW703" 4. If the target is "EHP3 FOR SAP SRM 7.0", select the instance "NXP INT NW740"

b) Support Packages: The following support package has been released for SRMNXP01 100:

l Post Installation Steps: - The installation of SRMNXP01 100 might end with the following generation error: Program /SRMNXP/CL_MDM_EXTRACTOR_50===CP, Include /SRMNXP/CL_MDM_EXTRACTOR_50===CI: Syntax error in line 000007 Type 'MDM_GDT_INTEGERVALUE' is unknown

Solution: If you are not using SRM MDM Catalog, then you can ignore the error. The above error will not occur, if MDM_TECH 710_700 is installed. For details kindly refer the Master Guide.
