SCHOOL SAFETY In August, before the students headed back to school, the staff met with Officer George Panagiotou to review safety measures the school will take in the event of an intruder in the building or other emergency. This time was very helpful for the staff to ensure that we all promote school safety. As part of our mission we will welcome Officer George back on Tuesday, September 17 for our student sessions. During this time, Officer George will review procedures for students during an intruder drill. We will be breaking the students up into two groups, with PreK-4 going at 9:00 am and 5-8 going at 10:00.

PARISH FEAST DAY Thank you to all those that were able to celebrate Our Lady of the Lake Parish Feast Day at Arcadia Beach Club yesterday. The weather was perfect for our prayer on the beach! As part of the celebration all students were given an OLL t-shirt to celebrate our feast and anniversary. Students can wear this t-shirt in place of a uniform shirt and be worn on mass days.

have been turned into the office by Friday,

LIFE ON THE LAKE Our annual school fundraiser, Life on the Lake, will be held on
Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Eastside Irish American Club.
We are looking for volunteers to help with securing donations,
decorations, set-up, and working the races. If you are interested
please contact Lauren Zbiegien at 216-481-6824 or by email at
ATTENDANCE AND TARDIES If a student will be absent from school, please notify the school office. Phone calls will be made to families that have not called children in. You will also need to provide a written note excusing your child’s absence when he or she returns to school. In addition, it is very important that your children arrive on time for school. The tardy bell rings at 7:50 am. Children will be marked tardy if they arrive after 7:50 am. A student will receive a demerit after three tardies in a quarter, resulting in 15 minutes after school. After six total tardies, families will need to meet with administration.
