GETTING STARTED | A GUIDE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD

Document AnnotationsObjective Connect for iPhone and iPad includes

the ability to add annotations to a Microsoft Word,

PowerPoint, PDF and image files. By creating a

local, encrypted version of the document on the

device, users have the ability to add a rich set of

digital annotations including the ability to highlight

text, add comments, and free hand or pre-defined

drawing tools.

Users have the ability to mark the annotations as

Private. This will mean that the annotations can

only be accessed on the device they have been

created on and will not be shared with any other

users. This feature is ideal for board or committee

members preparing for a meeting, using the

annotations as ‘margin notes’ for their own

reference.

Alternatively, a user can choose to mark

annotations as Shared. The annotated document

will be added as a new version in Objective

Connect, making them visible by all other

participants on the Workspace. This feature is

ideal for board or committee members preparing

for assessors working in the field.
