Responsibilities:

To be conversant with HSE Plan/Project specific HSE Plan/HSE Specifications / Standards, Statutory Regulations and client requirements on HSE.

Conduct training and counselling sessions on group and individual basis and lead the process of passing on safety information to the work force through site Supervisors.

Monitor the compliance of Permit to Work System (PTW). Participate /facilitate the conduct of emergency response drills, provide scenarios for the

emergency drills, exercises. Inspect all areas under responsibility on a daily basis. Maintain and keep all records relevant to HSE matters. Liaise with Contractors / sub-contractors on all matters related to HSE Investigate the accidents/ incidents, analyse, advice for corrective and preventive action and

follow up for implementation Stop/ suspend any activity where there is an imminent danger to life or health of work force/

property. Identify, provide and evaluate effectiveness of training for implementation of HSE Management

System at all relevant functions and levels. Perform other related duties assigned by the HSE Manager from time to time. Attend, participate in the supervisors HSE meeting, keep records of the meeting and monitor

implementation of action points. Identify lifesaving equipment and tools and ensure they have a valid statutory test certificates

before usage at site. In the event of an emergency, coordinate with client and implement emergency evacuation plan. Develop and implement site-specific OH&S management initiatives. Advise all levels of staff regarding issues arising from risk assessments and investigations. Advise management on OH&S legislation and requirements. Carry out hazard Identification/risk assessments Minimise accidents and incidents by ensuring OH&S procedures and policies were implemented

and maintained. Assisted OH&S manager with risk assessments and incident investigations. Maintaining a helpful and friendly demeanor at all times. Organizes and issues daily/monthly HS&E reports as required. Support or leads hazard identification exercises.
