Day 8: Monday 3 June 2019 Avignon (FB,L,D)Avignon has a rich history from Celtic beginnings to being the residence of the Popes and later central to the French Revolution. Although a fortified town, it is the Papal Palace which stands more secure on a hill in the centre of town; its walls are 17–18 feet thick. Your guided walk with a local guide takes you through this historic centre strolling the cobbled laneways and browsing the shops, overlooking the famous ‘Pont d’Avignon’. Day 10: Wednesday 5 June 2019 Tournon (FB,L,D)Join your local guide for a walking tour of Tournon, which is dominated by the 16th century castle and roman ruins, and is nestled in the valley near the steep slopes of le Massif Central, France’s 3rd largest mountain range. Day 11: Thursday 6 June 2019 Lyon (FB,L,D)Lyon is France’s third largest city, a former Roman capital positioned at the conference of the Rhone and Saone rivers, which is steeped in history. Today take part on the guided tour of Lyon, which starts with a drive to the Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvière, Lyon’s hilltop church, with stunning views over the town. Then pass by the recently re–discovered Roman amphitheatre and walk through the cobbled streets of the gastronomic old town including the secret laneways. The public areas are well-designed with our guests in mind. The glorious Sun Deck with its 360° views, lounge chairs, walking track, putting green, giant Tic-Tac-Toe and Sky Barbecue is an inviting place to relax and enjoy the ever-changing scenery.

Take a dip in our 24 sq m heated swimming pool at the rear of the Horizon Deck. A retractable roof allows you to enjoy it in all conditions.

At night, the pool is covered by an extended floor and the area transforms into an entertainment lounge, hosting movie nights and other functions.

The Reflections Restaurant is a relaxed setting to enjoy our superb onboard cuisine, and complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks are served with lunch and dinner. Lunch is freshly prepared, featuring a tempting array of hot and cold dishes, and in the evenings you’ll feast on a delicious four course dinner.

The Terrace on the ship’s bow is perfect for al fresco dining. With panoramic views of the spectacular scenery, the Terrace is also a lovely alternative for a café-style lunch.

TERMS AND CONDITIONSThese terms and conditions are additional to the full terms and conditions contained in the Evergreen Cruises & Tours Deluxe Europe River Cruising and Tours 2019 Brochure. All bookings are subject to Evergreen Cruises & Tours full terms and conditions. The contract between Scenic Tours Pty Limited (“Evergreen”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) and You includes: (a) the full Terms and Conditions; and (b) Your Itinerary. It is important that You carefully read the Contract as You will be bound by it once You have signed the Terms and Conditions or otherwise paid the earlier of Your Booking Deposit or the Tour Price. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The tour advertised in this �yer is organised and/or operated by Evergreen Cruises & Tours Pty Limited a division of Scenic Tours Pty Ltd. (hereinafter called ‘We’) We reserve the right to alter or change the accommodation, carriers or coaches at any time for any reason. The Company reserves the right to cancel or alter the itinerary and/or tour without notice as may be found necessary for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, road, weather or tra�c conditions, non-performance of suppliers industrial action, acts of war, acts of terrorism, operational conditions and requirements. All additional expenses incurred as a result of any delays, cancellations or alterations will be your responsibility. Tour variations or interruptions may occur due to road, river or weather conditions; national or local holidays a�ecting the closure of public buildings and attractions; strikes, civil disturbances and advices by governments; Force Majeure Events; hazards associated with travelling in underdeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft and other means of transportation; high water levels; low water levels; �ooding; lock closures; unscheduled vessel or vehicle maintenance. Airport transfers are only available on the �rst and last day of Your Tour and at times We designate. Transfers outside these times will be at Your expense and must be secured by Your own arrangements. SECURITY DEPOSIT: A non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit of $1,500 per person is due within 2 days of booking. It is advisable to take out Travel Insurance at this time. If taking an airfare with Evergreen a payment date will be advised.
