The Early Years/Key Stage 1 performance of ‘Lights, Camel, Acon!’ was truly memorable – a very creave retelling of the Christmas story in the style of ‘Strictly’. Nursery Nativity

The Nursery children retold the Christmas story beautifully this week with two performances of the Nativity. Our grown-

ups were all amazed and proud of our brilliant singing, acting and story-telling. We all remembered the special baby who was born to help and save the world. What a wonderful start to the Christmas season!

Welcome to our last Newsletter of 2016! I cannot believe how quickly this term (and indeed this year) has flown by. We have enjoyed a wonderful last 2 weeks full of celebration and festivities. Firstly may I say thank you so much to you all for your kind wishes during my recent illness – it is so good to be back. was a delight and thank you to all in Nursery. The Early Years/Key Stage 1 performance of ‘Lights, Camel, Action!’ was truly memorable – a very creative retelling of the Christmas story in the style of ‘Strictly’. The children were incredible with so many words and dances to learn. It was very funny and the children really rose to the occasion with the wonderful audience participation – well done everyone and thank you, we all feel full of the Christmas spirit now! We are all looking forward with anticipation to our Junior Carol Service on Tuesday – this is always one of the highlights of our year where ALL of Key Stage 2 participate. I look forward to seeing many of you at church. I would like, on behalf of all of the staff and governors, to wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas and to thank you for being part of our St Dunstan’s family. Thank you to all those who generously donated gifts for the Christmas Cracker Smile. One resident said ' I am delighted, I will have something to open on Christmas

day for the first time in years.' Well done to Oliver and Hope in Year 6 who represented the school so well in giving out the gifts on our behalf.
