MAISON AUDEBERT & FILS

Located in the BOURGUEILLOIS since 1839, over 40 hectares of vineyards on the appellations BOURGUEIL, SAINT-NICOLAS-DE-BOURGUEIL and CHINON.

Respectful of the terroirs, the wines are a reflection of unique grape, the Cabernet Franc, and the expression of the vintage.

Vinification is done in stainless steel vats with permanent temperature control. This regulation depends in fact on the quality of the cuvée: conservation of the aromas which are the very expression of the grape variety, and

extraction of the tannins, a primordial factor for a custard wine.

The harvest is then raised in the cellar, in 600-liter barrels to offer natural micro-oxygenation. Depending on the characteristics of the vintage, it will remain so until the time of bottling, the large capacity of storage and aging allows the period which seems to us the most favorable to carry out this delicate and essential operation for the

LOUIS ROEDEREROne of the last great independent and family-run Champagne Houses.

When he inherited the Champagne House in 1833, the aesthete and entrepreneur Louis Roederer took a visionary approach to enriching his vines, aiming to master every stage of the wine’s creation. He forged the wine’s unique style, character, and taste. In the mid-nineteenth century, Louis Roederer acquired some of Champagne’s grand cru vineyards—an approach that contrasted sharply with

contemporary practices.

The Louis Roederer estate cultivates the 3 traditional grape varieties: Chardonnay is appreciated for its minerality, finesse, and elegance; Pinot Noir’s solid constitution adds structure to the blends and prepares them for ageing; Pinot Meunier is a slightly less refined sweet grape variety, whose

adaptability brings harmony and softness to certain cuvées.
