THANKS TO HICKORY HILLS RESIDENTS:

I would like to thank everyone that came to the benefit that was held for me. Words can not express my gratitude for your kindness and generosity. It means so much to me that you all gave your time and money to help me. I was able to get a “new” to me golf cart. The kindness did not stop there. After a lot of searching my brother was able to find me a deal along with the help of Performance Plus Golf Carts in Auburndale. They were extremely kind and helpful. They double checked everything to ensure the cart is in great working and looking condition. No other golf cart company in Lakeland, Auburndale or Winter Haven even returned his phone calls. I am able once again to do little things for myself that is taken for granted until you lose it. I can take my own trash to the container. I can go get a haircut and groceries. So, again thank all of you for the kindness. It was a act of kindness that will forever be in my heart. Every time I think of how many people came out to help me it gets me all choked up. Thanks will never be enough!

OUT SMARTED BY A WOMAN:

When John found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he need a woman to enjoy it with.

So one evening he went to the singles bar where he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her natural beauty took his breath away.

“I may look like just an ordinary man,” he said as he walked up to her, “but in just a week or two, my father will die, and I’ll inherit 20 million dollars.”

Impressed, the woman went home with him that evening and, three days later she became his stepmother.

Women are so much smarter tan men.

DO YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN

Father Murphy walked into a pub and said to the first man he met, “Do you want to go to Heaven?”

The man said “I do Father.”

The Priest said, “Leave this pub right now!”

He approached a second man. He asked, “Do you want to go to Heaven?”

“Certainly, Father!” was his reply.

“Then leave this den of Satan!” said the priest.

Father Murphy then walked up to O’Toole and asked, “Do you want to go to Heaven?”

O’Toole replied: “No, I don’t Father!”The priest looked him right in the eye and said, “You

mean to tell me that when you die you don’t want to go to heaven?”

O’Toole smiled, “Oh, when I die. Yes Father. I thought you were getting a group together to go right now!”
