$11.06/hour
Responsibilities include: Secures assigned premises through visitor control sign-in and out procedures and
monitors for unauthorized personnel on premises Provides courteous information, assistance and direction to visitors, employees,
contractors, etc. Provides support during events, provides security escorts as requested and monitors
parking areas Locks all doors and windows after regular working hours Makes periodic rounds of buildings and grounds, in vehicle or on foot; ensures doors,
windows, safes, and gates are properly secured Intervenes in crisis and/or conflicts as requested Initiates notification to emergency agencies (police, fire, etc.) when necessary Reports unusual conditions or occurrences such as leaks, smells, etc. Prepares routine reports, attends required training and performs related work as required
Requirements include:One year of security experience in a multi-functional industrial, commercial or governmental facility; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. This position requires a valid Illinois driver's license and valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), or equivalent.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and climb. Also, the work environment for this position frequently includes working in extreme outside weather conditions.
