Name of Encon Activity: Replacement of CRT Computer monitors with TFT monitors. Area: - All Office areas. Location :- TML –Pant Nagar Name of Group members: - IBM.

Date & Duration Of Implementation :- May-10, 1 Year Description of Encon Activity: - Computer with TFT monitors were installed in place of CRT monitors to reduce the wattage requirement for monitor application from 100 Watts (CRT) to 30 Watts (TFT). This resulted in Energy Saving. Saving (In Details):-The total energy saving of 109200 KWH per year. Energy saving Calculation: (100w-30w) watt diff. between CRT and TFT monitor X 520 computers X 10 Hr./day X 300days/yr. = 109200 KWH PA

Investment Amount in Rs 26 Lakhs :-(Capital / Revenue / No Investment Project) Pay back - 5 years
