1. Did you always dream of becoming a chef?Yes, as a little boy I’ve always dreamt of becoming a chef.

2. How many years have you been a chef?It’s now my 18th year of being in the kitchen and I absolutely love it.

3. What is your favourite herb or spice and why?I like ‘Al Tahi’ spice, because if you add this to any Arabic food, it gives an amazing taste.

4. What is your favourite dish on the Tabule menu?Shisha Tawook with Cheese and Zaatar.

5. What’s one ingredient you can’t live without?I can’t live without ‘Burgul’.

6. If you could cook for anyone, who would it be and why?I will always love cooking for my mom, because she is my �rst teacher, and guides me in my career as a chef.

7. What is your favourite music to listen to while you are cooking?My favourite singer is Fayrouz; I like to listen to her music when I cook.

8. What one word describes your culinary style?Creative.
