Useful Information

15 Minutes FreePerth is the first city to recognise the ‘click and collect’ culture and has now introduced a 15 minute free parking policy. This only applies to Council-run car parks and on-street parking spaces. A valid ticket must be displayed and can be acquired free of charge.

Parking for Blue Badge HoldersFree parking spaces exclusively for the use of blue badge holders are provided on various city centre streets and in Council-run car parks. Blue badge holders are permitted to park in any Council-controlled on or off-street parking bay free of charge. Blue badge holders may also park at other on-street locations subject to normal conditions of their badges.

Motorbike ParkingFree parking spaces designated by the letters M/C written on the road beside them are provided at various points throughout the city centre for use by bikers.

Public HolidaysOn-street pay and display and Council-run car parks are free of charge on 1 and 2 January and 25 and 26 December.

Season TicketsSeason Tickets are available in all our long stay car parks.

Park & Ride in Perth CityA Park & Ride facility for 400 vehicles is available at the Broxden roundabout. This is situated at the junction of the M90/A9 bypass with the A9 Stirling Road. A second Park & Ride operates from a car park adjacent to the A94 at the north end of Scone.

Kinross Park & Ride at Junction 6 on the M90 allows motorists to link with coach services to Perth and Edinburgh.

Parking allows for full day parking at a flat rate of 50p per hour, with a maximum charge of £4. Season tickets are available.

All charges shown apply 8.00 am - 6.00 pm Monday to Saturday (with the exception of 1 and 2 January and 25 and 26 December).
