The solvents trichloroethaneand Methylene Chloride canchemically react with aluminumused in paint spray guns, paintpumps, etc. and cause anexplosion. If you are usingthese solvents, use onlystainless steel spray equipment. This does not affect your aircompressor, but may affect theequipment being used.
Never directly inhalecompressed air produced by acompressor. It is not suitable forbreathing purposes.
Do not weld on the air tank ofthis compressor. Welding on theair compressor tank mayweaken the tank and result inextremely hazardousconditions. Welding on the tankin any manner will void thewarranty.
Never use an electric aircompressor outdoors when it israining or on a wet surface, as itmay cause electric shock.
When not in use or beforeservicing, make sure that thecompressor is turned off, unplugged from the powersource, and all pressure hasbeen released from the unit.
Check the manufacturer’smaximum pressure rating for airtools and accessories. Thecompressor outlet pressuremust be regulated so that itnever exceeds the maximumpressure rating of the tool.
High temperatures and movingparts are present under theshroud. In order to preventburns or other injuries, do not
operate with the shroudremoved. Allow the compressorparts to cool before handling orservicing.
Be certain to read all the labelsand follow all safety instructionswhen you are spraying paint ortoxic materials. If there is achance of inhaling anything youare spraying, use a respiratormask. Read all instructions andbe sure that your respirator maskwill protect you from the fumes.
Always wear safety goggles orglasses when using an aircompressor. Never point thenozzle or sprayer toward aperson or any part of the body.
Do not adjust the pressure switchor relief valve for any reason.Doing so will void the warranty. The compressor is preset for themaximum pressure of the unit.
Drain the moisture from the tankon a daily basis. A clean, drytank will help prevent corrosion.
Pull the pressure relief valve ringdaily to ensure that the valve isfunctioning properly, and to clearthe valve of any possibleobstructions.
To provide proper ventilation forcooling, the compressor must bekept at a minimum of a foot fromthe nearest wall, in a well-ventilated area.
Fasten the compressor downsecurely. If transporting isnecessary, the pressure must bereleased from the tank beforetransporting.
Protect the air hose and electriccord from damage and puncture.Inspect them weekly for weak orworn spots and replace, ifnecessary.
WARNING
Disconnect the power andrelease all pressure from thesystem before attempting toinstall, service, relocate, orperform any maintenance.
Follow all electrical and safetycodes as well as NationalElectrical Codes (NEC) andOccupational Safety and HealthAct (OSHA).
Electric motors and starters mustbe securely and adequatelygrounded using a three-prongedoutlet.
CAUTION
Never use an extension cord withthis product. Use additional airhose instead of an extensioncord to avoid power loss andpermanent motor damage. Useof an extension cord will void thewarranty.
OPERATING PRINCIPLEAND COMPONENTSCHARACTERISTIC1. OPERATION PRINCIPLEThe compressor is driven by themotor directly. The crankshaftturns to drive the connecting rodup and down; the connecting roddrives the piston back and forth. The piston’s movement leads tothe air pressure in the cylinder. The air valve in the cylinder headmakes the natural air enter intothe cylinder through the air filter,

and then the compressed airpressure enters the tankthrough the pipe. Finally, connect the air hose to the tool, making the tool operate.
2. COMPONENTSCHARACTERISTIC
The compressor motor is adirect-drive, single-stage, z typereciprocation air-cooledcompressor. The valve structureis a strip-style valve. Its coolingand lubricating is reasonableand its performance is reliable.
APPLICATIONThe compressors are widelyused in various pneumatic toolsand machines ofcommunication, machinerymanufacturers, medical andhealth, garments, spinning andweaving works, such as tire,gas-filled, painting, etc.
OPERATION,LUBRICATION, ANDMAINTENANCEAfter opening your tool, makesure that you have all of thesafety manuals, all of the spareparts, and carefully inspect thecompressor for any damage.
Pull out the oil ruler. During thewinter, fill the tank to thestipulated level with N32machine lubricating oil. In thesummer, fill the tank with N68machine lubricating oil. Afterfilling, reinsert the oil ruler, plugin the power cord, and operatethe compressor without load.Check to make sure that it isoperating properly.
Connect the pneumatic tool tothe air compressor, and thenstart the compressor. You maynow use your tool.
NOTE: The compressor shouldbe started without any workingpressure.
The compressor uses machinelubricating oil. Fill thecompressor with oil beforestarting. During operation, the oiltemperature must be below 158ーF. (Use N32 in the winter andN68 in the summer.)
After 500 hours of operation, replace the oil, disassemble thecrankcase and cover, and cleanthe old oil and dirty things. Aftergiving the compressor athorough cleaning, reassemblethe crankcase and cover, and fillthe tank with fresh oil.
Clean the air filter once everyweek.
After 16 hours of operation, openthe petcock and drain the waterfrom the tank. Clean the tankonce every 6 months.
After each use, turn off the powerand drain all the pressure fromthe tank.
In order to maintain thecompressor normally, disassemble the compressor, then with a light oil, such asgasoline, clean all the parts. Aftercleaning, dry the partsthoroughly. When reassembling, smear grease on the touchingsurfaces. If necessary, repair orreplace worn or broken parts.Reassemble and adjust the partscorrectly.
NOTE: Electric units should beground correctly.
If the compressor is not going tobe used for an extended periodof time, the air valves andtouching surfaces should becleaned and smeared withgrease.
