The Preliminary Competition Schedule of the ASC Asian Championships is attached to this General Information. The Final Competition Schedule (including Training Schedule) will be distributed after the Final Entry Deadline (30 days before the Official Arrival day). The latest Schedule updates will be provided at the Technical Meeting.

2. Rules and Regulations The competition will be conducted according to the ISSF Rules and Regulations and the ASC General Regulations. Jury members (Jury of Appeal, Competition Jury, RTS Jury and Equipment Control Jury) will be nominated by ASC to supervise the championship. The equipment control will be conducted according to the ISSF and ASC rules using instruments and devices approved by ISSF. Air or CO2 Cylinders. It is the athlete’s responsibility to ensure that any air or CO2 cylinder is still within its validity date. This may be checked by Equipment Control. Shotgun Equipment. All skeet athletes must have ISSF seals with serial numbers on their marker tapes. Any shooting vests that do not have ISSF seals on the marker tapes must be submitted to Equipment Control for inspection and the affixing of a seal before the competition. Equipment Control will be conducted according to ISSF Rules using approved, calibrated instruments. Pre-competition testing is not mandatory; however, athletes are responsible for competing with legal equipment and clothing. All athletes are urged to submit any doubtful equipment and clothing to Equipment Control or the Shotgun Jury for checking before the competition. All athletes are subject to being selected for random testing during the competition. Athletes found to be in violation of the rules for guns or skeet marker tapes will be disqualified. Shotgun Cartridge Controls. During Qualification, athletes whose cartridges are to be tested are selected by a computer draw. Between 10% and 18% of the athletes participating in an event will be selected for cartridge testing. Two (2) plus four (4) cartridges will be selected from each athlete and placed in separate labeled envelopes. The two (2) cartridges must be tested, first. If both cartridges weigh 24.50 g or less, no further action will be taken. If one (1) or both cartridges weigh more than 24.50g, then the four (4) cartridges in the second envelope must be tested. If the average of the six (6) cartridges weigh more than 24.50 g, then the athlete must be disqualified (DSQ).

During Final, all six (6) finalists must be tested using the same procedure. The Finalists or their Coaches/Officials must bring, as early as possible, but not later than 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the Final (Reporting Time), all the cartridges that will be used during the Finals and place them in separate Cartridge Control Boxes on the Finals field of play. The Finalists must report at least 15 minutes before the start of the Final. The Equipment Control Jury will take the necessary samples from the boxes, and the boxes will be sealed. The boxes must be left under the supervision of Equipment Control Jury Member on the FOP. Once ammunition is placed in the box and sealed, only the Equipment Control Jury or the Finalist can remove ammunition from the box. No additional cartridges are brought to a Finalist during Finals. All cartridge controls must be completed before the start of the Presentation of the Finalists. Any disqualified (DSQ) athlete will not be allowed to participate in the Finals (There will be no elimination for 6th place; the first elimination will be for 5th place). Colored Wads. Only transparent or translucent wads with no color may be used. If an athlete uses ammunition that is not in accordance with Rule 9.4.3.1 a), then the athlete must be disqualified (DSQ). 3. Participation Entries are open for ASC Member Federations only and each participant must register officially from his/her Federation. ASC Member Federations may enter a maximum of three (3) athletes per individual and team event (one (1) team), two (2) additional athletes out of competition (MQS) in Olympic events Senior category only and two (2) mixed teams per event. The mixed teams composed from shooters of different federations are not allowed. All athletes participating must have an ISSF ID number. All shooters included in the Final Entry Form without an ISSF ID will not be entered for the competitions. Late issue of an ISSF ID number will be considered as “late entry” and treated according to the rules.

Juniors are athletes who will be under the age of 21 on 31 December 2019. Juniors may participate in one (1) category only – either in the Juniors or in the Seniors events. If no Juniors event is scheduled, Juniors may participate in this event in the Senior category. Youth are athletes who will be under the age of 19 on 31 December 2019. Youths may participate in one (1) category only – either in the Youth, Juniors or in the Seniors events. If no Youth event is scheduled, Youths may participate in Junior category in this event. If no Junior event is scheduled, Youths may participate in Senior category in this event. Quota Places and MQS. Quota Places for the 2020 Olympic Games Tokyo, Japan will be distributed according to the Qualification System. Results obtained during this ASC Asian Championship will be recognized as MQS for the 2020 OG. Minimum Participation Requirements for individual and team events. The team and individual competitions of the 14th ASC Asian Championship will be held if the number of entries is not less than follows: Men: 15 individual and 5 teams Women: 10 individual and 4 teams Men and Women Junior: 10 individual and 3 teams Youth: 4 individual and 3 teams The cancellations of events from the championship due to insufficient number of entries will be done after the final entry deadline – 30 days before the official arrival day. The information regarding the cancellations will be sent to the participating teams within 3 days after the final entry deadline. If the event was not cancelled but the number of arrived participants is less than required, the event will be held in status “friendly match”. Medals awarded in “friendly matches” may not be counted in overall medal standings of the championships.

4. Entry Process Preliminary and Final Entries for athletes and officials must be submitted to ISSF Headquarters. Entry forms are provided. However, the Member Federations are advised to use the ISSF Online Registration Service http://entry.issf-sports.info . The deadlines are as follows: Preliminary entries should be submitted by 1 August 2019. The Final Entry Deadline (30 days before the official arrival day) is 4 October 2019. Late entries. will only be accepted until the Late Entry Deadline (3 days before the Official Arrival day) which is 31 October 2019. Cancellations. If any federation reduces the number of athletes listed in their Final Entries after the Final Entry Deadline (4 October 2019) must pay applicable entry fees and hotel room cancellation costs according to the number of athletes and entries on the Final Entry Forms originally received. If the applicable fees and costs are not paid, no member of that federation may participate. Entry Fee. The entry fees include all charges for registration, local transportation between airport, shooting range and official hotels in the period of championship and doping control. The Entry Fees DO NOT include the cost of the Pre-Event and Unofficial Trainings for Shotgun. The entry fees payments should be done in cash in US Dollars to the Organizing Committee upon arrival at the Shooting Complex. Bank transfer of the fees is possible upon agreement with the Organizing Committee. The details for transfer will be sent upon request. Payment by credit or debit cards or traveler’s cheques will NOT be accepted. 5. Anti-Doping Control The Organizing Committee will conduct Doping Controls Tests according to the ISSF Anti-Doping Rules and the ISSF Test Distribution Plan 2019 under the supervision of the ISSF Technical Delegate. 6. Venue The venue of the 14th ASC Asian Shooting Championship is the Lusail Shooting Complex located in the north outskirt of Doha. The competition facilities are as follows:

- 10m range: indoor, 80 firing lanes, equipped with electronic target machines Sius-Ascor S10;

- 25m range: outdoor, 12 target groups, 60 firing lanes equipped with electronic target machines Sius-Ascor S25/50, shooting direction is pointed to the North, targets are covered from direct sunlight;

- 50m range: outdoor, 80 firing lanes equipped with electronic target machines Sius-Ascor S25/50, shooting direction is pointed to the North, targets are covered from direct sunlight;

- 10m Running Target range: indoor, 3 electronic target machines Sius-Ascor S10; - Final hall (Rifle/Pistol): 10 firing lanes 50 and 10m, 3 target groups 25m equipped

with electronic target machines Sius-Ascor LS10G2, LS25/50; - 6 combined shotgun ranges are pointed to the North. They are equipped with

Laporte target throwing machines and sound release system and scoreboards manufactured by Elettronica Progetti.

The targets for shotgun competitions are Laporte Grand Prix Orange for qualification rounds and flash for finals.

8. Transportation Local transportation from airport to official hotels and from official hotels to the Lusail Shooting Complex will be provided from 3rd to 14th November. Delegations arrived prior to this period or later should arrange their transportation themselves. Transportation of the guns from airport to the gun store will be provided. For the delegations accommodated in non-official hotels will be provided transportation of the guns between airport and shooting range stores only. 9. Gun Permits, Customs Formalities and Transportation of Guns The gun permits will be issued by the Qatar ministry of interior for all kinds of guns including air guns and any numbered parts. After the end of procedure in airport, all the guns and ammunition will be picked up by representatives of the Organizing Committee and delivered to the Lusail Shooting Complex. It is strictly prohibited to take any gun or ammunition out from the shooting complex. The Organizing Committee can not guarantee issue of gun permit if the forms are submitted after the deadline. 10. Entry visas Nationals of 83 Countries are now eligible for Visa Waiver upon arrival in Qatar. Please, refer to www.visitqatar.qa/plan/visas-requirements.html for details. The participants from the other countries must send the visa request form along with passport copies to the organizing committee. The documents must be sent as an attachment to email. Faxed copies of passports will not be accepted. The Organizing Committee can not guarantee issue of entry visas if the forms are submitted after the deadline.
