Pump out holes: check with the drawings for the location of the pump out holes. Holes are drilled in on inboard side of skin, Idendify the sealed bulkheads for the separate compartments. With a marker, label the apex of the bulkhead with an “S” to indicate a sealed bulkhead.
CLOSING INSPECTION Final inspection before installing the bottom skins.

Check rivets – there should be no gap between the r ivet head and the skin.
If necessary, drill out and replace rivets.

Check the flanges – the edge are straight – if necessary, pinch the flange between your fingers and bend up or down.
- The angle of the flanges looks good, the follow the low set by the edge of the skin.
- At the apex of the bulkhead, he left and right flange are even.
